Idk if you’ve ever been to Roosevelt Island, but it’s really nice especially in late afternoons/evenings. You should check it out! When I used to do photography more I’d take so many shots of my friends there. Btw, 0:39 you’re at 8,000-ish now grew a whole 1k since you made the vid!

if you like reading books about immigrants/immigrant families I highly recommend transcendent kingdom by yaa giasi. I don't want to spoil it but the story is basically about a ghanian family that immigrated to the US and live in alabama. I feel like you would enjoy this one but I suggest you to check the trigger warnings before reading just to be safe!
