What I meant was that her anime adaptation felt like they wanted more people to feel bad for her instead since the whole monologue and her lamenting about her decisions in the first half of the ep doesn't happen in the webtoon to my knowledge. I enjoy how she is written in the anime, but after reading the webtoon her portrayal is very jarring in comparison. In my opinion at least.

I believe we will see the story of the tower expanded in some capacity yes but for a while now it's been very combat focused, something which Charlie is praising the anime for not doing. I definitely get your point that this seems like the natural progression of things the higher up they go. I'm just curious to see where the webtoon goes and (with as little spoilers as possible) see if they return to tests, exploring, and uncovering the mysteries of the tower or if it's all about to wrap up.
