I can highly recommend this one who has tropical summers with high humidity, which makes airbrushing impossible without one of these. If you connect it directly to your airbrush like shown here, it also works as an extra handle, helping those cramping up hands... If you don't like it as a handle, get an extra hose so you can connect it further away from your airbrush, note it still needs to be vertical. Note that you still have to take extra care of your compressor, i recommend blasting it through once or twice per week.

I assume you mean the A3 artist pad that I use frequently to demo basic airbrushing etc..? You should be able to find them on amazon, at your local art or stationary shop here in Australia you can buy them from Kmart, Target as well as other 'cheap' shops. Hope that helps 😉

Can an inline pressure valve also be used with this trap? And where would it get mounted?

I never paint without it on all of my Iwata guns ! And I use another airtrap connected to the main line right after the compressor so I have 2 and I never had a drop of water ever again ! Especially if you use a small air pump that is constantly running ! Cause it’s warm and the air causes condensation cause it’s always running if you have a reserve tank set up like I do that also helps tons! Cause the pump isn’t constantly running !

Thanks Marc for your input and for sharing your set-up. You are correct in saying that any of the 'constant' run compressors definitely generate more heat and therefore moisture in your line and one of these can save you from a mountain of moisture issues. 🤩

@@AirbrushAsylum ok whew ! That means the world to me ! That my set up was good! Yeah I remember when I started I bought the Amazon compressor from Vivo and it didn’t have a reservoir tank under it and I noticed the pump would run constantly while I was painting ! And I always had moisture in my silver bullet and it would fill up ! it was pretty bad but when I invested into your compressor from Iwata ! The one you use with the double gun set up and reservoir tank it’s literally bone dry and I never had moisture in the top silver bullet yet ! even after hours of painting bone dry ! So thank you my friend that was the best investment I ever made and your video showed me the way !! Thank you 🙏🏻!
