Yeah, this year I had a few distractions and did not go out as much. This one is from the trip I did 2 weeks ago...6 days in the Mojave Desert, I had a blast!

comedy i see my place out there... awesome ride man i cant wait to get back, going for New Years. that second crossing has gone through a number of changes over the last year/ we'll see what happens after the next big storm. It was deeper over spring but so much sand has come in from the big storms it blocked all kinds of things all over the area// if you didnt notice, there is now a lake to the west of the first train bridge that has persisted since last summer.... so nice to be out in the desert with you like this, that mine road is something else wow/ looks like the perfect time for Soda Lake / thanks for taking us along great trip so far!

Yeah the water situation was very different than the last 2 times I was there. Both water-crossing had much less water, and after Afton there were multiple streams of water crossing the trail for a couple of miles, there time there was not even one of those...but regardless, this area and the Mojave Road in particular is #1 on my list of overlanding trips. Have fun on New Years over there.

@@OverlandOutAndAbout thanks/ water will probably get deeper again in the spring, or at least that little flow into the canyon will likely return. always changing out there...
