I been researching E-bikes off and on for a couple of months. When I thought I narrow it down along comes anther bike I might like. I really like the Heybike Cityrun and the Velotric Discovery 1 now this bike. I am a senior with one hip and both knees with arthritis. I can only ride a normal bicycle a block or two before I’m out of breath due to CHF. I understand that e-bikes with the peddle assist is really good for slowing getting back into shape. Just to confusing on deciding.

I hear you. Personally, for me I really like this bike because it has a torque sensor which creates a little more resistance. Of course you can still just throttle only and not pedal at all. Now, if you want a bike that is always easy to pedal when using pedal assist then you might want to checkout a cadence sensor e-bike. You mentioned the Velotric Discovery and I reviewed that e-bike too and yes, it's a cadence sensor e-bike and I had a lot of fun with it... I did an e-bike giveaway and I gave away two bikes from Velotric. Have you checked out my most recent e-bike review of the NIU BQI C3 Pro? It's has a cadence sensor, dual batteries and a very wide step through. This bike is super easy to get on and off of and with dual batteries take you for a long, long ride. From my experience, torque sensing provides a much greater ability to control the bike when maneuvering at slow speeds. It feels more like a regular pedal bike.

Mokwheel advertises Tecktro hydraulic brakes online. I would complain that the brakes are not as advertised. Mokwheel is bad at that. Swapping parts on bikes that are advertised differently on their website.

Hmmm... I just checked and I don't think this is true, at least with the bike that I reviewed. I went to their site to see for myself and for brakes they are listing exactly the exact same brakes that are on my bike.

@@spiderwayne I’m in Canada and on the Canadian website it advertises tecktro hydraulic brakes but shows 5 star brakes in the pic. My bad
