RECIPE
▼材料 Ingredients
Cream Cheese 180g
Butter 30g
Milk 100g
Egg Yolk 3
Cake Flour 10g
Corn Starch 20g
Egg White 3
Sugar 60g
lemon juice 2g
1. Put Cream cheese, butter, milk into a bowl, then put on top of hot water
2. Until all melted and smooth, add egg yolk
3. Add cake flour and corn starch, then sieve it
4. Add lemon juice into egg white, add suger in 3 times, until soft peak
5. Add 1/3 Egg white to egg yolk mixture, mix completely, pour into mold
6. Bake upper heat 180°C lower heat 110°C 30mins, then upper heat 150°C lower heat 110°C 60-70mins. If you don't have upper lower heat setting, you can bake 150°C 30mins and 110°C 60-70mins.

I had try two times to make this recipe and I can't 😞 It never get cooks, when i take it out of the oven its raw. Did you do something special?

​@@greenpigment In some cases, it could be the oven that was not making the cake cook all the way through. I would probably keep it in there longer if it was not quite done after the suggested time. But if it was really uncooked inside still, you'll probably need to increase the baking temperature just a bit.

@@greenpigment did you cook it for long enough? Usually a cheesecake cooks in an hour depending on the settings. In this video, it says to cook for 30 mins on 150C and then 70 mins on 110C. It’s important you convert the degree to F if you’re using Fahrenheit. Hope this helps.

@@nilsperry7736 Oven temperature too hot. Your top set faster than the inside, hence when the cake rise up, it cracks the top. Try lowering your oven temperature a bit n see how it goes.

@@pamelapropertyninja1223 Awwe Thank you so much for your reply. I baked it before on low 110C but it collapsed. Then this time 150C and it cracked. I guess I have to make loads is cheesecake until it looks like your perfect one!

@@nilsperry7736 Hi, You need to know your oven well as it helps when you do baking. Every oven is different. Some gets hot fast n high even at the temperature of the recipe. So you need to tweak the recipe temperature to your oven temperature. From what you said 110°C is too low n 150°C is too high. Try it at 125°C or 130°C. Hope this helps you. Horror para partir , rebanar el ( pastel , pan) tienes que ponerle grasa al cuchillo para que no rompa el pan y salga la rebanada limpia.

Hola José!!! Generalmente se calienta el horno a 180 grados, antes de meter el bizcochuelo se baja el calor casi al mínimo y se deja 30 minutos para que se cocine, esto va a depender de tu horno, puede ser menos o más el tiempo de cocción.

Si te salió? Yo lo hice seguí paso por paso pero nunca se infló el grosor fué como de 2 cm😑 talvez fue el molde que estaba mas grande🤷🏽‍♀️

I followed this recipe very accurately and poured batter into a 6 inch pan. Mine didnt rise as high as yours. It was only around 2 inches tall. The flavor is good though!

May I ask what type of oven you used? Does it have both upper and lower heat settings? My oven has only the lower setting. I am afraid my cake won't get brown and won't get beyond 2" high. I have tried so many sets of temperature settings but none of them really works as well as it should (I'm looking for a nice brown top and about 3" high). Thank you!

Hi can I do the ratio of this recipe with 4 eggs for pan size 18cm (7 inches)? If so, should I bake with the same temperature? I read the description box, it said 150C in 30’ and 130C in 60-70’, but the subtitle said 150C in 30’ and 110C in 60-70’. So we set it 130C or 110C? I’m excited to use this recipe to make my first ever cheesecake. Thank you. 😊

MoLaLa Cook I just made the Japanese cheesecake today for the first time with the ratio to 4 eggs pan size 18cm. My oven is small, so I set 150C for 20 mins because it turned brown on top very quickly and then 110C for 60 mins. After turning off the oven, I took out the water bath and set the cake in the oven for another 30 mins. It turned out perfect and tasted so good. Gave half of it to my friends and they totally loved it.

Please tell me the cake flour 10g n corn starch 20g is correct for 3 eggs / 180g cream cheese recipe. If convert to 4.2 eggs / 250g cream cheese recipe, the cake flour will be 13.9g n corn starch 27.9g. However, many other recipes is having 60g cake flour n 20g corn flour for 250g cream cheese recipe. Why there is such huge difference in flour portion?

Thank you for amazing recipe!! The cake was extremely soft but mine cracked at the surface 😂 How to fix it? As my oven is a fan and I baked 150c for 30mins then 110c for 70mins. It’s a fan force oven.

Hi iam struggling to find corn starch from our supermarkets. To substitute corn starch, is it better to use potato starch or use rice flour? You made a note that corn starch is to reduce gluten, rice flour is gluten free. Do you think mixing rice and plain flour together get the same result? Thanks

I tried this and so far the beat recipe I've tried... in has more of cheesecake consiatency than sponge cake. One question : how long is baking time for low heat only? And what temperature?

Batter was a little liquidy for me and also didn't rise like the one in the video :( Maybe too much milk? I added 100g as stated in the recipe. Cake still turned out great and super light! But only the top half was textured, the bottom half was a little smoother. Anyone else get this or did I just miss something??? Any help will be much appreciated :)

Sounds like your batter deflated. Stabilise your egg whites by beating on low speed for a minute or two. Be careful not to overbeat.

I baked this cake as instructed but it didn't bake at all after nearly 2 hours of baking.....my oven is in good condition n I have been baking cakes regularly.....may i know what would have gone wrong??? How long do we need to wait to de-mould the cake from the tin after baking??

Hi everyone. Do not follow this recipe! I tried it because the end result image looks amazing on the video, but the end reault was not obtained by following this recipe. The recipe from Tasty actually works. The cake will not rise with this fraud of a recipe. Save yourself the time and dishes and stick to a real recipe.

Hi, if I double up the ingredients, then the baking time need to change to longer or stick to your time& temperature?

The measure is way off. I measured 100g milk and it was like 10 times more than the video. The corn starch also way off too.

I made it and failed terribly. Followed exactly. Baked 150°C for 30mins and 110°C for 70mins i bain marie. Cake wasnt cooked fully yet.. and my oven temperature is accurate too.
