Thank you I will consider it. I just want to tell you, that before I got so very sick , I had a lot of diagnoses like fibrom, ulcerøs col, psoriasis, and always influenza-like symptoms 3 times a year in bed and off work. food allergies and more. What is strange is that during the use of binders and following the protocol + diett all from Shoemaker, the symptoms and the illnesses started to mend. When I am exposed to molds like penicillium, and aspergillus strains inhaled rom a indoor environment, I am so hypersensitive, my body reacts at once. And these agents should not be in any houses. We need to get the natural ventilators back into our houses and buildings rapido!!! We need heat and air into all spaces in our living areas. The yeast strains and the Polyurethane emissions these emissions are a growing problem. PU is hazard to our health. Most people think of new-car smell, but it is so much more. I do think that the solution to it all is to work with the society in some ways. There are so many chemicals that is made in a process where yeast and mold are a part of it. What about the detergents used in everyday cleaning of our clothes.. OMG The society is not healthy for anyone. What about making a special room for them in the shop. The butter and the flor smells of detergant for G sake..

I'm stuck. I'm a house with mold that gave me hives and panic attacks for about 15 years. I had to quit allergy shots 3 times because of insurance issues. I take xolair shots at home. And I'm stuck at a job I hate just to keep Insurance. The insurance gets worse and the allergy doctors get more and more greedy. Quit allergy shots 3 months ago now the hives are back. Once I closed my crawl space up and shut off the fans that I crammed under the house the mold dirt smell got extremely worse. It instantly gave me a panic attack and I wasn't having any anxiety. 2 days later I got hives again. When it first happened 15 years ago I lost my gf over it. She thought I was going crazy and she told everyone in my town I live in I'm a mess. Even thought I've gotten better for many years. I managed to keep my job the whole time and although im neurotic and avoid people i have a normal interactions i just don't want them. the mold is always somewhere waiting to find enough humidity to attack. I went through a drinking phase, isolation, health improvements and falls. If only I could get ahead financially I could leave and bulldoze the house and take a loss and just sell the land and garage to my neighbor. This house has ruined the last 15 years of my life. Minus a couple good years in the middle. I would remodel a room and get sick a month later. Financially I'm at the worst and I owe too much in medical bills for anyone to take me as a patient. I've had blood tests and nobody has ever mentioned mold but I don't need a test i know what it is that's causing it. The first time I had a reaction I woke up after being sick and had an alert to go to the bathroom once on the toilet i noticed I was covered with hives and for the first time in my life I had severe anxiety which led to panic disorder. I took ssris that work on and off and took benzos on and off as well. I was a happy dude before this house.

This is an excellent interview. I lived in a rental that had significant hidden mold in 2014 - no one believed me and I was gaslit in my process, still gaslit to this day but I know I understand something most people can’t begin to understand. My hair was falling out, serious fatigue, brain fog, erratic menstrual cycles, enlarged breasts (hormones going haywire), teeth and plaque out of control, muscle wasting, anxiety/ panic attacks, the list goes on and on. Additionally my pets were also having various symptoms. Long story short, mis-diagnosed from many doctors. The situation got so bad one morning I called 911 because I thought I was actually having a heart attack. It was at that moment a doctor asked if I might have mold. My life changed in ways I had no idea. I found an environmental/ functional doctor who told me I had to get out, open my pathways, put me on a detox plan, change my entire diet, brain retraining. The rental turned into a legal battle, inspectors registered mold levels severe, I had to throw away everything I owned. An environmental crew brought in a dumpster, everything was logged, documented, photo’d and put into the dumpster. The healing path took me on a journey to never feel more healthy, simply amazing. I live very differently, less stuff, healthier eating, conscious decisions. I have had re-exposure (massive construction, toxins, mold) and I have had to manage that. I understand my body more at the age of 48 then any time in my life. To help with my journey I took mold inspection/supervisory courses by a top leader in DC area, took courses on Healthy Homes and construction. I see so many things wrong with home indirections, home purchasing, rentals and health care. I do my best to educate others no matter how often I am dismissed.

I’ve been exposed to mold both at home and at a camp in the past 2.5 years.. and it’s been giving me all kinds of symptoms like allergy reactions, rashes, hair loss, weak immune system, fatigue, sinusitis, toe nail fungus, and the most heartbreaking one was a miscarriage I had about 4 months ago which was my first pregnancy ever.. my mom also lives with me and she has similar symptoms and IBS, dry eyes, back pain.. what do you suggest we should do? this a condo we have a mortgage on .. the mold is mostly in the bathroom/shower.. there is some in the laundry room and kitchen sink area too.. but the major part is the shower walls.. I’m afraid to take showers now.. tried spot cleaning it with hydrogen peroxide .. but do you think getting the whole place inspected by professional and then deep cleaning it/renovating it would help? Or do we have to move out of here and leave our belongings behind too? please share whatever you know about this.. I’m not sure what to do at this point.. I wanted to also mention I started eating clean since I also have gluten sensitivity and insulin resistance for a few weeks/and did intermittent fasting that’s how I think I got pregnant, but after 5 weeks I started having cramps and clots.. sorry to bother you with my long message..

Anyone did air tests? What were the spore counts?
@Hally-el5kn
@Hally-el5kn 4 ай бұрын
@@parinazaz4044the “toe fungus”? Does it grow in a stripe? The stripe means heart has infection too- mold infection. Myocarditis. Leave everything, have a degrees scientist for toxic mold inspect ($700 a few years ago) - I got the air, after closing up the place, I got the walls/windows/a/c duct all tested. I left everything . I was told you didn’t want to carry a spore to the new place. A couple of sentimental items went into storage at another paid storage location. Paid a few thousand to a private doctor, tests showed it was in my organs. That’s fatal. It was worse for my 13yo son, he was bedridden and missed 9th and 10th grade. He had it worse. I had to be bedridden for a few months, but up to take him to every doctor in the book. Only private pay doctor did the correct diagnosis. Regular insurance paid doctors say insurance won’t allow these tests. The facilities they worked at wouldn’t allow him to order them. And that’s in pediatrics!!! I offered to pay out of pocket but because of their job risk at these facilities (all of the pediatric facilities were in SoCal), they couldn’t even order what we needed, even with the proof of the home toxicology diagnosis that even specified which strains of black mold was there. Relocated my son, and me too. It’s fatal, I take oregano oil daily to mitigate it when I see the stripes coming back on my toes. (Only “oreganol” brand works). The private doctor had a regime, yes. We were to take the binders-clay. And a bunch of other things. Happened in 2019. He also recommended fresh air and the hot saunas. I haven’t done the saunas, tho. Be strong and focus.

Thank you! I have every symptom mentioned! Losing my vision (Dr said it's my cornea) had 20-20 vision! Eyes tearing. Exhausted, 12 hours sleep, get up but no energy to do anything! I went from size 12 to size 18. I'm 2nd time mold infected. Not just brain fog , first time had amnesia for 3 months! Glutathione, probiotics, charcoal all seemed to help. I have multiple PTSD. Had Covid with viral pneumonia and diagnosed with POTS. Yes I lost everything too, high end antiques, all furniture. ANYTHING POROUS will take in mold spores! OML! I didn't recall this response- wrote today today. 😮

Her story is so similar to mine. 49 years old. Dealing with mold. Again. 7 years ago I got rid of everything. I too am a domestic violence survivor. SA. Several times, both. Sustained a massive head injury at 9 years old. I had an appointment with this doctor. Due to finances and the need to move, immediately. I will revisit this doctor. Can't wait. Unfortunately, I need to go to an MD, first. Per my lawyer. Though I do know that this doctor, has the answers.

This was my experience with mold. I lived in an apartment filled with black mold in the walls.. eventually became very visible. I got very very sick there. I don’t like going to that city at all anymore. The entire experience was horrible. I’m still healing 8 years later. On top of mold (though I never tested myself for it- it’s too expensive for me) my levels of borrellia, Babesia, ebv, and cmv are very high. :(

Like Ruscio said, the test is not the most valuable variable in healing. What I’ve learned through this incredibly costly (on all fronts) lesson is, if given the chance to do it all over again, I would have taken every single thing I had in Rome and burned it all in a bonfire.

Thank you for sharing your story! 💔 When I was 4 I had strep throat very bad and I had an allergic reaction to the Amoxicillin (mold based antibiotic) that was RX to treat me. I had a red raised rash from head to toe. So began my struggle to be well. This health testimony resonates so much with me as it is almost my exact same wellness journey even down to the doctor abuse (“it’s all in your head” is abusive, “character assaults”), thousands of specialists and tests, TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury), POTs (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome), Washington (born there) and the RED hair😢 I feel your pain sis. I also was diagnosed with EDs (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome) and about 10 other dx (in 2017) but I don’t put any weight on dx anymore. Honestly, they are just labels that kept me from getting to the true root and doctors just kept chasing symptoms for years, only to make me worse. I’ve lost family, friends, so many people in my life because I’m sick all the time. All my energy gets used up homeschooling and caring for my two young children. I have nothing left to give for friends, family, even my husband and they don’t understand any of it. They don’t understand how I’m always sick and always have so many things wrong with me. It’s caused financial burdens and strains beyond belief. My husband has had to put on the caregiver roll many times in our 16 years together. It’s been taxing on my marriage. My children have so many food allergies and health issues too which has just become so overwhelming. Sadly, I’ve had to be my own doctor as I’ve never met one that helped me. Just took lots of money from me. Took body parts from me. My tonsils (as an adult in 2009) and half my Thyroid (along with an egg size tumor, in 2007). My roots ended up being parasites (I have two types of dividing/colonizing fungal infections according to my stool tests and Pinworms with d. Fragilis). …And black mold in my house(s). I’ve moved several states to remediate the mold/moisture issues. I now live in AZ. I’m still debilitated in bed every winter or if we get monsoons. We recently found the mold issue in our master bath next to my bed that I’m in all the time 😮 Remediate or move?! My whole family is riddled with fungal issues again this winter. Like the worst it’s ever been…ringworm and oral thrush and athletes foot….we are totally holistic, organic, gluten free, dairy free, soy free, nut free, sugar free (except fruit). I couldn’t possibly do more to be well and I’m still not! We’ve owned this house for 3 years now and I’ve not been consistently well the whole time. So my mom kept saying, I think it is your house making you sick?! The inflammation and the fatigue from the fungal (mold) infection is WAY beyond just being tired and you can never sleep enough to make up for the constant lead weight feeling draining you, the muscle fatigue is unbearable and sometimes makes walking to the bathroom from the bed feel impossible. I was bed ridden and in a walker for a year after a car accident the extreme debilitation didn’t add up. I was weak and so dizzy. Losing weight rapidly. 140 to 102 in a matter of months. I could go on but this is already so long. You do a great job at articulating about just how debilitating the fatigue really is🙏🏼 Prayers for you Cor on your wellness journey. I’ve been studying medicine for 10 years due to my health issues…we all need support and love on our wellness journeys but it’s so important to be your own advocate and research for yourself. You are a warrior and a fighter Cor and I’m glad you had Ruscio in your corner to fight with you. I’m a fighter, a survivor, a warrior….but I’m just so sick and tired of being sick. 😭 Prayers and blessings to all those struggling with their health. I feel alone but I know I’m not.

Hi Twin! I’m sorry to hear you’re on the same struggle bus as I have been on. If I had the journey to do all over again I would have gathered and burned every single item that had been with me in a mold environment. Burn everything down to the ground sounds so expensive but the costs of keeping things that infect other things and keep you home and bed bound are incalculable. I also love Ruscio’s HPA Select supplement as I needed (and still need) adrenal support to fortify energy that has been drained to nothing over time. And like the poster above said, carnivore might help. I’ve been doing meat + fruit for about 6 months now and it’s definitely helping. We will get well. Keep the faith and stay in the fight ❤ Cor

I can relate so much to all what Cordila said! I have been sick for almost 7 years now. It started in my mid 20´s with depression, crippling anxiety and progressed to chronic fatigue. I felt like an old guy in his 90´s which barely walks.. Everything was so energy draining..so unbelievable hard... I totally isolated myself from the world and spent all my available energy visiting doctors. Nobody could find anything during all the years! I felt like I must be crazy having all these sympthoms. 2 years back It got even worse with horrible brain fog which almost caused loss of my job. Also my body reacted to almost every meal I ate! :( During all the years I have been researching and trying to find out what is wrong. I tried every possible supplement, switching between diets like keto, carnivore, trying to meditate,.. and nothing trully helped. Finally this year I have stumbled upon a video realated to mold exposure and its sympthoms. It clicked with my sympthomps and I immediately took that as an option that mold could be possible cause.. Finally I have started researching about the past of the building where I was accomodated. Guess what - the flat has been flooded twice in 20 years, It had a leaky roof too! The first thing I did was proper cleanup and I bought small machine that produces ozone. Immediately after the first run of ozone in the flat I felt noticable relief! So I knew I am on the right path.. Now it has been 1 month since I moved from the flat completely and I feel little bit better now. I know it is going to take some time since I suffered for very long time. I have still a lot of sympthoms and a lot of prevailing damage from the mold exporuse. My message to you all is: Please do not loose hope! I know you may feel alone, hopeless, tired as hell but believe me, you will get better! Just do not loose hope!

It is so terrible to have mold exposure. I was never able to get my doctor to check me for mold. They kept saying there is no physical test for it. Whenever I slept in the bedroom where I lived, I would wake up to severe joint pain, itchy eyes at times blurred sight, at times breathing issues, depression. However, when I would leave the room and leave, it would all go away. The pain was so very terrible. Urgent care says they don't do mold testing, primary doctor says the same.

I cried with relief while listening to some of the things you expressed! It's so nice to know I am not alone in this. And Dr Ruscio, thank you so much for the work you have done to be able to support others in this way. When Cordila described your support with awareness to resources and time it became very clear to me why I have had difficulty with some of my past doctors. Despite my significant investments in my health for years now, I have sensed I was to blame for not putting in enough resources or time, yet I know and have known that isn't the case. To me, this story highlights your ability to provide guidance with the patients wellbeing at the forefront. Thank you both!

I am now living in my vehicle in Florida for a few months. My house back north is over 100 years old, and the old house issues tore me down. I've been dealing with fall out from mold since 1990. I would also describe myself as high maintenance. It takes aot of effort to keep things going. I have dropped 9k in the last year working with a naturopath, acupuncturist, hypnotherapy, supplements, and vagus nerve programs. Getting out of living in a house has helped so much. When I go back in a few months, I will still live out of my car while I figure out how to make my old house liveable for me. Hopefully, that is possible. ❤

My experience is different, lived in a home for 13 years that unknowingly had mold. I’m 6’2” and weighed at my highest 260, then over the course of 8 months without doing anything different dropped down to 150… heart palpatations, dizzy, can’t sleep, ears would turn red, edema in the legs, limitless high anxiety energy. Feeling so tired but wired at the same time as if I drank 10 pots of coffee. As a child I had asthma and knew mold was an allergen. Would get bronchitis or pneumonia once or twice a year, but when my body finally had enough it shifted to no longer having respiratory manifestation of mold but to the symptoms I described above. Of course constipation also. Remediated our home (25k), levels went down to acceptable, from evacuate immediately, but still felt horrible and wound up moving. 6 months later no more, or few palpitations, can actually feel relaxed occasionally but have extreme joint and muscle pain in legs, have managed to gain a little weight 170 now, and still getting (didn’t mention above, too many symptoms to remember) uncontrollable muscle twitches, spasms. This has been so insidious and devastatingly to myself and family. I honestly don’t know if I will ever get better. Just had to bail on a vacation with my family. Drove to a rental waterfront home 6 hours away, walked in, smelled a faint musty odor, of course there were air fresheners all over the place, made it one night, but the second night after suffering tons of palpatations, racing heart and extreme dizziness at 4 am I had to have my wife drive me 6 hours back home (God bless her)…I literally hate this, and pray to God above that there will be recovery. I feel like a dart board that md’s functional medical doc throw darts at with nothing giving results and over 50k out of pocket spent. I’m tired of saunas, binders, and the myriad of supplements, restrictive eating, and pharmaceuticals that have done nothing. If it weren’t for my wife, and children I surely would have taken a lead capsule to the brain, not because I don’t want to live, to the contrary I love my life and the people God has blessed me to be charge of, but being constantly tortured makes impossible to fulfill my obligations as a Husband and father, but I hang on in hopes of a brighter day. To anyone going through this you know you wouldn’t wish it on your worst enemy, I pray there is recovery, and my God to the countless times I’ve heard from the elderly or sick don’t take for granted your health and youth….meant nothing to me when I was “healthy” means everything now.

I feel the better AIR has a big part in how going on a walk helps. If you shower, change clothes(wash in baking soda/vinegar) and go on a short walk. You don't want too cause it hurts and you are tired. BUT most times I've been forced because my baby wouldn't sleep if I didn't walk him late at night...I noticed, my symptoms and energy always improves if I do that. A good indicator that your HOME is bad. Ventilate...do whatever you can until you can remediate or move. And remember her take on "house fire" it IS like that. If you cab BAKE your things...if you can store priceless or things you just CAN'T throw our in a climate controlled place. Do it. It's like radiation. You have to rid yourself of it all for a while to truly heal. Especially if you want thar to take a shorter time. When you become mold sick, I don't think you'll ever fully recover. You will always sense it. It's not a bad thing. You are the canary and you get to help the world after you heal to make things GOOD. ✨️

This is one of the most hopeful mold interviews I’ve listened to in forever. 😭😭😭🙏 I’ve been struggling because none of the binders, mlld protocols etc have worked for me. They’ve only made things worse. I worried I wasn’t going to heal because I wasn’t following the “rules”… And yet… if I leave things alone, I’m slowly, slowly healing. So thank you for encouraging my heart today, Dr. Ruscio and Cordelia!

Great podcast, and thank you both for all your experienced info. Being a vegetarian, I needed protein and bought vegan plant based protein and plant based greens to mix in water and just drink. The inflamitory condition of my body had an immediate response and the inflamation subsided. So I now know the need for protein in my life is very real and will seek out a supportive health program and people to follow and learn from. I have constant tearing in my eyes as well sometimes so bad its almost equal to crying, I am certain this apt. is damp behind the sheetrock walls as I have put damp rid bags up to catch moisture even here in Denver, and they absorb allot of moisture from the room air. Thank you again..

I started at minute 27 to hear what worked, consequently went to go buy some adrenal support supplements online, then came back to watch the video from the beginning. Very interesting and helpful story! I’m doing the shoemaker protocol and I’ve been on cholestyramine for months now. It did help with some symptoms. I’m not yet to the VIP nasal spray. I’ll have to look into Gupta protocol/brain retraining. Because I still feel completely exhausted. What I like about this doctor is he seems open-minded and conscientious. So he can take what is good from the shoemaker protocol, but also take what is a good from other places as well. I’m glad Cordila listened to her intuitive mom and went to this doctor who helped her. 😊 Would love to hear updates and more recovery stories. I found this video by searching KZbin for something like “CIRS mold healing.” I think this video thumbnail had a picture of mold on it, so it made me not want to click on it, but I’m glad I did. 😅

Thank you very much! I relate totally. I'm on my 2nd mold exposure. I lost everything I owned as well as my health to mold in FL 2015. Moved into an apt with mold in 2022. Didn't know why I felt so tired, brain fog, choking coughing, muscle aches, weight gain, (OML, my chest! too) hair loss. until mold was discovered in our HVAC intake. Ironically, I have POTS symptoms from long COVID and have multiple PTSD! Looking for another apartment but hard to find on low Social Security income. I'm watching this trying to find a way to get healthy again. I bought a few meds (My FL Dr followed Richie Shoemaker and healed me) So this time bought Liposomal Glutathione and Charcoal, take Probiotics. I believe this is Stachybotrus. Testor did not reveal type.

18:50 treatment that worked: binders didnt do anything, environment was key, gut support like probiotics was key, gupta seemed to be key, protein intake and movement seemed to be key eg trampoline for move lymph. phase 1 -box things up and away in another room phase 2 - open up the drainage pathways- Skin:epsom salt baths, dry skin brushing to move lymph, (infra red sauna?). Bowels:magnesium citrate to help open bowels. Sleep: work on sleep and circadian rhthym. 33:10 she took hpa select-ashwangda,licorice,ginseng root, eleutherou. rhodiola to support adrenals and mitochondria. Hpa support (hpa axis) was needed to help regulate the production of cortisol, and licorice to help extend the half life of cortisol ie to prevent degradation of cortisol. People with mold toxins need more baseline cortisol ie they need to increase their level of cortisol. Increased protein intake. 59:30 gladiator

The reason why urinary mold testing is weird is cuz it can measure several states: 1) your mold levels are low, but you have lots of mold and your body is not detoxing it properly 2) your mold levels are very high, but this is showing that the mold is detoxing well and leaving your body. since a high level is excreted, a high level shows on the test, though it may be exaggerated to what you have left in you

I would hire a legitimate "mold inspector" and get their report. Then if I were in your shoes, I would relocate those old pictures of the mold you originally reported take pictures of basement now, get mortgage guys "report" and name, find a lawyer, and sue HIM personally for lost wages since that date you reported and reached out for help. (HE DID NOT DO HIS JOB) You need possibly an engineer who deals with moisture cases and "solution" problem solving. Your hired mold inspector being present at the time the mortgage guy came out, probably would have had an increased "witness proof of impact" if I'm expressing myself correctly. A witness with photo's and handing them a report will hold weight. Always MOLD INSPECT before you purchase. Thing is, mortgage company may already known your houses dilemma!!! 😢

I wonder if anyone has any actual mold results they can share. Meaning if they suffered , what were the spore counts for said air tests? No one ever gives details. Hard to know what’s considered high for sensitive people. Some say air tests aren’t good enough , implying you can still get sick from spores that aren’t even contacting you in the air? So I’m curious if people did air tests and if so what were the numbers? I see a lot of videos and comments about people getting sick and virtually zero useful information as to how low the counts can be and someone still react. This helps figure out if it’s really mold or something else in the environment.

I did urinary testing through Ruscio. All mold types listed were elevated in me. I also paid for mold testers to test my environment. Also elevated. However the most useful “test” has been my own intuition and the most actionable “result” has been how I feel. That and if you visibly see mold, throw that thing(s) immediately out.

This is the conversation you both should have had before you decided what should be in a video to not allow it to be so long-winded and at least get to the point sooner which seems to be lost in the mix somewhere.

Yes, you need to get rid of EVERYTHING that has been in the moldinfested environment, including cellphone, creditcard, jewelry, EVERYTHING. Also you need to get rid of your clothes and wash your body thoroughly with soap and water, also cut your hair very short or shave it of, then put on new clothes and shoes. Take NOTHING with you from the moldinfested building. This is very expensive but crucial. "Binders" are completely useless, the problem will go away as soon as all the sources of mold mycotoxines are removed, but not before this. NO! you can NOT take the old SIM-card from your old cellphone and put it in your new phone, GET A NEW SIM-card. NO!, you can never use your old car again, its also contaminated as is your workplace. I will be posting videos about products that will quickly make your symptoms better and also products to make your house habitable, many furnitures can also be saved. What if on top of all these problems you have MCAS ? My body cannot handle adrenal extract and many other supplements. Thank you .. Also, what to use to get rid of black gram cocci specks in sinuses (not from pollution) ? Thank you

Maybe Dr. Jill Crista’s nasal spray and what you could find on her site, too, could help.

What helped clean out my sinuses is putting 4 drops of food grade peroxide in my netti pot, as well as gurgling with it and rinsing my ears with it as well. Make sure it's in distilled water. I get it from Guardian of Eden.

I'm only one minute in and I wanted to say thank you. I have been feeling worthless. I know I'm meant to do great things but I keep saying how am I supposed to do that with a broken body? 😢 I'm sure I'll have another comment later but again. Thank you.

Dr. Ruscio, i have been on quite the journey. Configuring outs for this situation is the eye opener. I have a few queries from time invested in research, how do things like quercetin from purple onions or supplements, perhaps apple cidae vinegar, extended release vit C wage against an active case of mold invasion if your in process of clearing up pathogenic load around you and dont necessarily have option to jump ship per say? Seeing this is many aspects, thyroid effect, stow on mitochondrial function and chronic fatigue,... ive been wondering about foods as well could if theres active mold in the environment would it be better to limit amylose starch foods as well? Does stomach acid effect this an if so would coffee extend the duration of recovery if that an coffee can effect gastric balance. There are many more questions i could imagine mainly wity mood and energy immunity, the HPA axis dysfunction, tying in with the dysfunction or inability for thyroid to pull tsh into balance or it causes uptake issues that dont show up in tests..... i fricken hate mold but so far its gone hand in hand with the La Nina an constant rain season and potentially the effect that has on peoples environments. Maybe instead of burning the house down burning sage for a few days/weeks an next step CLO2 fogging by a professional in professional mold remediation services. Being on a seaboard location seems like this is just something we have to live with from time to time. Have to hope people find solution to these dilemmas that works.

Thanks for your thoughts. You have a lot of interesting questions in here. Keep an eye out for future content maybe we can pull together more research in some of these areas.

Can this be similar due to a fungal infection internally? Seems to be spreading to every part of me slowly but the symptoms are so similar. Although I DO have a lot of mold in this house.

Yes, and both the internal fungal and house mold HAVE to be addressed from all angles.

I have a question.. Mold existed since the ancient times… is it that in our generation we are more susceptible to sickness from it than let’s say hundreds and thousands of years ago ?

Mold is even in the Bible where it says a house with mold “must be torn down-its stones, timbers and all the plaster-and taken out of the town to an unclean place.” Mold made people sick, even then. But modern medicine doesn’t acknowledge the menace of mold. Even some commenters on this post dismiss and minimize it. I am grateful for functional medicine docs like Ruscio who acknowledge it and those with the courage to talk about it openly, despite the ridicule, hoping to serve a generation awakening to an ancient menace people used to take seriously.

My understanding is that it may be a combo of a few things, from the underlying toxic overload we carry now due to so many other environmental toxins (pesticides, preservatives, etc), to the fact that we have more common use of drywall now alongside more airtight construction of buildings. Drywall has paper backing which creates an environment of cellulose, which can be a huge factor in the creation of more toxic mold species that carry mycotoxins. This factor may not be picked up in publicly for years but I believe it is a huge problem.
