Gidday mate. I want to remove the pump because it makes a terrible grinding sound. Don't want a/c anyway. It has no gas in the system but I am worried the pump may be needed to drive another belt.

I know how you feel. my corolla factory zze111 terra is already quite equipped. I installed 1ZZ engine from the Celica, air conditioning and many other things. Greetings

Nice vid man good stuff, im having a problem w my 16v 4age which is when i open the throttle and hold it (giving it gas constantly) it seams to skip or bog....as if it where revving then stops and revs again i might not be explaining it very well but if you have anything of the top of thought that you think might be the problem i would appreciate it, thanks!

Does it happen on a sudden rev from closed to full or if you slowly step on it until it becomes full? Is it like a hesitation? If hesitation it can be the TPS. Did you service the car recently? Spark plugs, spark plug wires? Is the engine timing set right? Is the fuel filter not clogged? Check the distributor for cracks as well, and check that you have no vaccum leaks on the small pipes around the throttle body, and that the brake booster line is well connected to the intake.Another thing that can be very stupid is having a worn wire that goes to the fuel pump and having a short circuit somewhere, the gas pump does not get enough voltage and not enough gas goes into the fuel rail (but this is really the last thing I would check). Is the battery dying on a very short amount of time?Hope something helps! Good luck!

Vaccum leaks can be a pain to find, but the best way is to blow cigarette smoke in the direction of the throttle body (where a bunch of vaccum lines connect in the 4AGE) or spray a solvent in the general area (brake cleaner, for example). If the idle rises when you spray the area where you suspect there is a vaccum leak, you know you have a leak.

Hi, have KE70 4AGE conversation, unfortunately cannot use 4AGE AC compressors due to its pulley clashing with frame/ body, is there an alternative compressor that could be used with smaller pulley? Thank you

how about swap to Ae101?(4afe too) is fit with stock engine mount? n gearbox connection fit too?

Yes, the engine is getting a full service (some may call it a rebuild). I will be making a video with all the parts I am putting in it, and my plans for putting it in top shape before it goes in the car :-) I have learned the hard way that things have to be done right the first time, so I buy a mountain of parts and replace everything at once.
