@Samuel Thomas Religion in general man. After years of wondering who or what I believed in I eventually just decided I'm not the religion type, even though my family is Catholic. Religious people judge you for anything they consider wrong and try their hardest to force their beliefs down your throat. It's sickening.
@RB-bd5tz
@RB-bd5tz 3 жыл бұрын
@@shlankbank Please don't judge God by the behaviour of overzealous hypocrites; they're not acting in a Christian spirit. "Judge not, that ye be not judged (Matthew 7:1)." If someone doesn't want to hear about Christianity, the Christian is to leave them alone: "And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet (Matthew 10:14)." God does not force Himself on anyone; He invites people to join Him. "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord (Isaiah 1:18)." "I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore CHOOSE life (Deuteronomy 30:19)." It is GOD who gives people freedom of will and thought. He gave Adam & Eve the CHOICE of eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil - and everyone since has the CHOICE to follow God or not. Who ACTUALLY prevents people from having choice, or thinking freely? Non-Christians! The world at large has abandoned God, and what do we see. Evolutionists have had the Bible banned from government, schools, entertainment, and libraries - so who is trying to force their beliefs down other's throats? The world passes laws specifically against Christian evangelism (as in Muslim and socialist countries), and against arguing with "certain groups" from a Biblical perspective (Canada, 2013). Which countries have traditionally had the MOST freedom of belief, religion, speech, and expression? The ones that were established under Christian principles. Did those countries ban Islam, Buddhism, evolutionism, or atheism? Nope. Which countries have the LEAST freedom of belief, religion, speech, and expression? Besides the Islamic ones, it's been the atheistic ones: the USSR, China, North Korea, Nazi Germany. Now, see these freedoms disappearing even the West, as they crumble under the weight of socialist propaganda. In England, you can be thrown in jail just for offending someone, whether you meant it or not - and it's the offended person who decides what is offensive. This is the 1984-style thought crime that Orwell warned us about. Did God put this law into effect, or did man? And why is it that anyone can post anything they want on KZbin about loving Satan or other anti-Christian sentiment, but my Christian comments sometimes disappear? It's sickening.

@youtuberson4077
@youtuberson4077 3 жыл бұрын
@@arminius3808 it is actually a cycle, if someone is abused and they don't confront what happened to them, if they don't try to heal from it, they repress the pain and the shame and there's a high probability they will repeat the behaviors that were done to them. When someone is abused, ESPECIALLY at such a young age, that creates trauma and the brain gets stuck at that age. Children don't know to ask for help, to tell someone that something has happened, just like Larry said. Sexual abuse isn't about sex, it's about control. Often times when a child is abused, they'll grow up seeking to retain control and the most common thing that will happen? They'll reinact what happened to them so that they're in control this time.

@Dexter Morgan It‘s understandable to a degree to hate priests but remember that His Holiness Pope Francis immediately declared a war against the sexual abuse of nuns and children. His Holiness says that sexual abuse of any kind is a horrible crime that ought not be tolerated. He also swiftly created the „Pontifical Commission for the Protection of Minors“, an institution within the Roman Catholic Church whose only task is to protect children. Furthermore, allow me to tell you the name of a priest who had a heart of gold and a temper that never tired. Maximilian Kolbe, a Franciscan priest who sacrificed his own life and thus saved another life in Auschwitz, a death camp created by the devil.

I spent my teenage/young adult years being angry and resentful until I started therapy at age 24 which has helped a lot. I don’t agree with all your politics on certain subjects, but I have mad fucking respect for you. It’s awesome to see you still fighting the system even after all these years of prison (prison reform in America is so fucking important). You’re a good dude with a good heart. Larry you rule bro! I was molested by several men when I was young. A member of the "Big Brother" program, an English teacher, someone in the neighborhood. I was scared to tell anyone. These pedophile predators have a knack for detecting kids who have problems at home; and they prey on them with the perseverance of a wolf. It's so sad. These people need to be put away. It all started when my Dad was murdered, I was five years of age when my life fell apart. Thanks Larry, I would love to actually talk with you.
