Lovely thank you Mike Douglas was always on when I came home from school.. I remember this episode because my own Mamele absolutely loved these actors. She was sitting on the coffee table up close to the tv enjoying it. I still remember that happy look on her face as she watched. Thank you❤️

Amazing interview with amazingly talented people. So sad that George Raft died just months after this interview.

Did anyone happen to see this incredible and talented lady on, believe it or not, "The Facts of Life"? She played Natalie Green's grandmother.

I am fortunate enough to have worked with Molly in a tv pilot called HERE'S RITCHIE! What you see is what you get, she was a delight from our first hello. I will never forget this legend.

@@Mom2MrBabyHaikin sorry this so incredibly long to respond. I was having problems with my gmail. The pilot was shot in 1981. Unfortunately the pilot never sold. I was beyond thrilled that she agreed to be on the show. I could hardly breathe when I first met her. She out me at ease and even taught me a few things.

Great Show. Love the guests- and, so nice to have an MC like Mike who doesn't hog the show.

Try to see her in "Yidl mitn Fidl" before they take it off you tube. Charming youth! It has subtitles, but it was among the most famous musicals of Polish cinema. (You know, before Nazis decimated the people and the then thriving yiddish film industry.) It also relates to Yentl and Victor, Victoria and maybe something Shakespeare did about mistaken identity and the foibles of love.

Such wonderful stories from these three! And yes, George Raft did die not long after this taping, from emphysema. So many artists of that era smoked constantly, and passed sooner because of it. Thanks so much for this video!

There was a revival of Chu Chem in the late '80's. Sold as the "Chinese/Jewish Musical." The commercial made it look so over the top campy I was determined to see it. It bombed before I could get a ticket.
