Kudos to the guitar tech who set up this guitar. Older Martin’s without truss rod adjustment are a challenge to maintain. Guessing the fret board was re- done (?) and dressed unless it had been sitting under a bed unused all these years. Love the plastic button keys. These are just wonderful instruments and Molly is of course superb...

so .... I've been really sick... couldn't play for almost 10 years... gave away my last guitar, custom made.. about 10 years old... I thought I was dying last year about this time... just got a few new ones.. nylon strings.. then an inexpensive knock off ovation... finally got a hummingbird... custom.. from China.. and I tried to make a video last night... the technical stuff is mostly learning how to use a new computer... are you using a microphone or just using the phone or computer microphone? btw... I think I'm gonna get a haircut like yours.. I have a skin condition that requires full visual to fix... when I get better I can have hair... in the meantime... i also gotta tell you... you are absolutely beautiful with and without darlin. . no worries... the voice of an angel 😇 thanks again.. desde la Sierra Estrella de Arizona mi casa es su casa

I've never heard that tune on guitar, just on fiddle by the great James Bryan. Molly Tuttle did a great job translating it from fiddle to guitar. I think one of the hard-to-define qualities of superior guitar players is "touch," and she has it in abundance.

You will notice Molly rarely looks at her fingerboard as she plays because she knows the positions so well she just plays with the feel of the music ... and that is something that only a master can do.

I heard this on fiddle and banjo and they sound wonderful but didn't think it could sound equally good on guitar too. However, I have to say I still prefer the fiddle the best for this tune followed by clawhammer banjo.
