I totally agree. You get too wrapped up in the story of the video. You want to see what happens, especially to the kid. Definitely distracts your mind from the great cover version of the song that Metallica offers. I get why they wanted to make a video too edgy for MTV, but I think they did themselves a disservice being too busy saying "F**K YOU!" to the mainstream of the music industry. Much better just listening to this awesome cover and ignoring the video. 🤘🏼

When this song first came out, I learned to hate it......the song was in HEAVY rotation on the radio and was just simply overplayed. Now, it has become a favorite of mine due to this track right here. I love the substitution of guitars for the saxophone. A genius move. Another one off this album is Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Tuesday's Gone". Awesome cover. I never, ever expected to hear harmonica on a Metallica track. Once again, great vid, sir.

Bob Seger has a legendary voice, so it's probably impossible to say Metallica's version is an improvement over the original, but James also has an iconic voice, and the way the guitars transformed the song into something harder yet held the feelings is probably something only Metallica could do. I'm glad I'm not forced to pick one. I can listen to both.
