When I was in middle school, the male health/PE teacher was caught walking into the girls locker room several times. I was never comfortable around him even before I learned of this, he always would stare at the girls in PE class with such…predatory intent. Idk why he wasn’t fired but I heard it was because he was “justified” as head of our PE department to look in both the girls/boys locker rooms for drugs, weapons, etc… it creeps me out so much that he may have placed a camera (s) in the locker room, I don’t think any were ever discovered but who knows what he was actually trying to attempt by doing that

I was a professional swimmer from age 5 till 17. I never got why I was not allowed to change in the locker room. I needed to put my swim suit on at home so at the pool I only need to put my sport jacket/ shorts of. But when I got older I started to realize it… When I was 13 there was also a case of such harassing in my town. It is just digesting and horrible.

I remember my freshman and sophomore years of highschool when I had P.E. and there were large changing rooms. There were no private rooms available. So other girls would have to see eachother without clothes. I got away with dressing in the nurse's bathroom, but only because I have an IEP due to severe generalized anxiety. I know these conditions have improved a lot since the later 1900's, when my mom described how when she was in school: teachers used to watch all of the boys and girls to make sure they showered as required without messing around. I am so glad that's not considered acceptable anymore in schools. But it's still very flawed, and needs a lot of improvement. We have to keep using our voices to spread awareness about these things.

I'm a janitor for a high school, I found 36 cameras just in the girls locker rooms, and another 16 in the boys locker rooms. in all 52 were found, and over 62,000 hours of footage were obtained. in comparison, the longest youtube upload of all time was only 65,000 hours long which is not much longer than all the footage we busted. After we busted them all using a 4x2 foot florescent light fixture, 11 arrest warrants were settled and all 11 victims serve a year in Madison county jail. the maximum sentemce a county can initiate on a person was given to 9 of the 11 people. As for the other 2, they each got 3 months of jail time and 10 hours of community service for Madison City Proper.

This happened at my school, it was a health teacher. He got fired but they didn't have a replacement so they hired him back. He is still working there but he's retiring and moving to Florida at the end of the school year. something similar happened to me when i was 11 on my swim team. the changing room had two completely separate smaller changing rooms within. one was for adult women and the other was for children and their mothers. i remember this 40 year old woman would come into the little girls side and just watch us, even at 11 it made me uncomfortable so i would change in the bathroom stalls. one of the mothers reported her and turned out she had also been recording my swim mates with her phone. she got i believe 25 years in prison.

One of the kids at my school hid one of my cameras in the girls locker room! I had the cameras so I could film videos for projects and stuff. When they saw my name taped on the back of the camera I was temporarily expelled. It took me 2 years of having to be homeschooled till they found out who put the camera there. I still facepalm about it to this day 😭
