And this judge is a great judge, I like how he talks to people like they are people, some judges would have lite into that teen girl, and ripped her a new one, but he kept his cool and still treated her respectfully and she and her mom were very respectful to. I agree but id like to see him do something other than just traffic court. I think it would be interesting seeing hardened criminals challenging his friendly demeanor, and (hopefully) in some cases giving breaks to people who genuinely made a mistake and want to change their lives.

You can’t just go onto high profile cases when you’re someone who defends civil cases. It wouldn’t make sense, legally. It would be nice but it doesn’t mean it would be right.

Good on that mom and her daughter. Mom had her daughter atone for her actions and face the consequences, and the daughter handled it well even when she was wrong. After the video she knew she was wrong, and sometimes you really do forget if you stopped or not, and her use of believe instead of plain I stopped shows she's willing to accept that she was wrong

That's a good mom. "We had a civil lecture" but the girl honestly holds herself in a way that she genuinely thought she had stopped. Human memory is weird.
