As I said I'm always coming across some weird ass stories but there might not be enough there to make an entire video, so maybe combing them into these "stories for the dark" type compilations might be kinda cool from time to time? A simple google search shows that cadaver dogs can smell human remains up to at least 10 feet underground, as well as through concrete, debris, refuse, underwater. They can also distinguish human remains from animal remains. There’s no way a few blankets would throw them off the track. That body wasn’t there when they were.

The only thing I dislike about this format of telling multiple stories in one video is that the comment section tends to end up being all about one case. 99% of the comments here are about Paulette, 1% about the mass-murdering sailor, and none about the Korean Incel Squad -- which is the case I was really hoping to discuss with others. 😢

It is quite strange that no one has found that story of interest. After seeing that segment, I paused the video to go do some quick internet research on the incidence of mental illness in South Korea (quite high) because, even though plenty of people all over the world are mentally ill, South Korea has a rep in this regard. The video of that one guy talking to the press before his execution was really something else.

That is absolutely Rediculous! A horrible and horrific way for ANYONE to Murder their own Daughter? Let alone one so tiny? Do you even realize how plausible, how possible this could accidently happen to ANY child in their sleep, let alone one with mobility disabilities? The Child could get around. But think about this? There were many child/ Toddler Deaths in the United States before the 1980's due to single and twin beds that were equipped with child guards! In the 1980's Crib Bumpers were Changed due to new Safety Protocols because of Infants Suffocating. Asphyxiation and Broken Limbs! were complaints Reported by Children's Hospitals and Pediatricians due to the installation of Bed Guards for Toddlers. The Guards were solid and Toddlers were rolling into them in their sleep getting pinned between the bedframe and Guard in their bedding and suffocating! Baby Bumpers for Cribs were also a cause for Suffocation. So, it is possible for a small child to wiggle in their bedding, slide between the mattress and bedframe upsidedown and get stuck. In a matter of minutes they would die from Positional Asphyxiation! Tiny lungs do not take long An adult in a position not able to expand their chest could die from Positional Asphyxiation very quickly. With several blankets slowing the flow of air? Even faster. Let's just say this would be quicker than a child putting a plastic bag over their head! No Parent would even think of such a rediculous way to Murder their child let alone leave their Daughter to Decay for 9 days and let Relatives sleep in the same bed! That is absolutely disgusting and heartless! A Mother's Intuition would have kicked in way, way sooner than this? And she would have never, ever left her two Daughters with him. Let alone sent them away on a Vacation with him?

I suspect that the money might actually have been his. There’s still a pretty lucrative market in unlawfully exported Russian Orthodox religious icons. If he & a couple of the other Russians were involved in the black market and were discovered by the captain, it’s likely that they decided that murder was the best way out of the situation. Then the sole survivor was able to get rid of his partner(s) and hit the open waters, hoping that the fire would have corroborated his story.

but there's actually a recent case in Italy where a woman "disappeared" from her home, her sister checked the whole apartment, then called the police, they checked as well, and after weeks someone came to clean up the house and found a (big) corpse between the wall and the bed, the lady fell out during the night and was never able to get up... to me is more probable that the little girl fell in a space and no one notice it, and those dogs were not so well trained.. plenty of similar cases as well where dogs never found corpses that were there all the time

It's disgusting that Mexico cops are even more corrupt and criminal than US police. A family friend was kidnapped and held ransom by Mexican cops when he'd chartered a boat to go fishing in Baja. They demanded to be paid off to let him go, and when he couldn't, they held him in deplorable conditions. They thought he was rich cuz he was on a boat, and wanted to extort his family for huge amounts of money. He was there for two whole months before getting him back, he was never the same after that.

The last one was really sad. This poor little girl didn’t choose to be born in a disabled body. I don’t understand how a rich family can complain over taking care of her when they have two nannys! I know that there are thousands of parents and even single parents that’s taking care of their childrens with disabilities and yes, it may be challenging but they do it anyway out of love for their kids. In these cases I really hope that there is a ”heaven” and that little Polly is taken care of by people that loves her ❤

I’m one of those parents as my daughter is disabled - physically and learning. It is very challenging, yes and hard work too - parenting is - but I could not love my child any more than I do as she’s so beautiful and full of life. She has a strength that many adults don’t have and I admire her for it. I’d never let any harm come to her. It’s so heartbreaking to hear stories like this, but I want to say that there’s many more parents and carers like me who are here in life giving love and care to our disabled kids. Take heart from that.

they were actually very much in debt and if I remember correctly couldn't afford to keep living the way they did, there's actually theory that the parents hid paulette somewhere in the building to collect ransom money, and she died bc they did not expect that much attention and could not get to her bc it would uncover their lies, as sadly most kidnappings do not even make it to the news in this country. Just a theory really but I guess I just wanted to add they where not rich anymore and it is known Lizeth did not care much for paulette and saw her as a burden sadly.

Yes, there is a heaven and children go immediately there as they have never reached the age of decision. They are innocent and whoa to those who harm one of them. As someone who lived on a farm, I can say 100% factually that there is NO WAY a body could be somewhere (of course not wrapped up airtight) for 9 days and not smell after a couple days, latest, then not stink out an entire building a couple days later. And no way cadaver dogs would have missed her. Unless she was wedged there alive when the cadaver dogs were brought, which is a whole new level of horror. My vote is that she was in a freezer. The poor wee girl, she is in a much better place now, happily doing things she couldn’t here. And whatever happened, Karma is a bitch. Eventually any guilty party will pay in some way.

Okay. You see that many parents leave their rooms just as they were when the child went missing. This mom is letting people sit on what should be a sacred place to her especially at that time. And letting other people sleep in her bed! That would have made me suspicious.
@-xxMelissaxx-
@-xxMelissaxx- 18 күн бұрын
Out of all the things you could pick out to be suspicious of, that's so weird. Having someone sleep in the bed (that isn't "sacred") actually works in the parent's favor of being innocent. Why would they let anyone in there to sit on the bed and even sleep in it if the kid's body was in there. Makes no sense.
@Vegan_Vlogs

@@-xxMelissaxx-there is no way the body was there as even humans can smell decaying flesh pretty well, and they knew the body isn't there that's why they'd allow someone to sleep there. Most parents keep their missing/deceased children's rooms completely untouched

That's the stupidest theory for guilt I think I've ever heard. SOME parents do leave their kid's rooms the way they were, some even not ever letting people in. The vast majority do not and almost none are guilty of any wrongdoing with their child. Please never serve on a jury because believing something you completely made up to decide guilt will definitely get some person in trouble or allow a guilty one to go free.

My dog is an ex-cadaver dog, there is NO WAY they wouldn’t have been able to smell the body in the bed. Absolutely no way. My baby pups senses have been dulled by time, and she can STILL smell things like you wouldn’t believe.

Cadaver dogs pick up scent of a body right after rigor mortise sets in. That body was placed there by someone thinking the room has already been cleared, they wont search it again. But after a week? Thats pushing it.

I like these small condensed story! Gives variety but I still enjoy deep dives too. First Story: How infuriating that the guy got away with murder and theft. I understand that in criminal court, the proof has to be beyond a reasonable doubt, but this is quite frustrating. Like sure, it's probably not enough evidence to pin the murder on him, but like surely there's crimes against tampering with the crime scene, cause if he's the only survivor, everything like the diesel and the missing bodies would have to be him alone, right? Letting him keep the money was just a slap on the face for the people that died.

I remember the third story with little Pollet - it makes the still shot at 37:56 pretty darn chilling to see 😢 What kind of police wouldn't take that bed and bedding apart in the first hours - even if only for forensic examination off site? WTF? No one looked UNDER the bed? For a child?? For NINE days? 🤷🏾‍♀️

The last one, heartbreaking and makes NO sense! Those parents are definitely hiding a big secret. Anyway, love ya Mike and massive congrats on 2 million subs!! Been here since early on. ❤ (Btw, little Pollet died 10 years to the day before my son was born. He is currently 4, same age she was when she died. He's autistic and developmentally delayed.)

I miss your older format. It is nicer when we learn about one story and get to delve into the details as well as submerse myself into the story with you due to your awesome story telling skills. I also enjoy the stories that are recorded in terms of an ending, the mystery stories leave you feelin unfulfilled as well as feel 'tacky' like other YT channels. We LOVE you for YOUR content because your style is so unique. Absolute amazing story teller
