I was blessed to spend 30 minutes asking my mother-in-law, who we affectionately call Nana Paine, 6 questions I thought would be helpful and encouraging to young mama's like myself!

Capturing the wisdom of these wonderful woman is something that you can pass down for generations. It is a lost art to sit and “interview” folks to learn how they navigated life throughout their seasons of life. I so wish I had the wear with all to have documented my grandparents advice, knowledge and lessons they learned so as to feel closer to them now that they returned home to the lord. I too had a godly mother in law and felt so blessed to have her. She passed away 42 years ago and I still miss her. She taught me how to be a great hostess and how to set a beautiful table. She loved me like a daughter and referred to me as her daughter when we were with other people. I came from a large disfunctional family and God knew just what I needed and gave me Marie! She also modeled a Titus 2 woman and loved her husband and son and was my role model for a mother in law to my two sons. You are truly blessed with a wonderful lady in Nana Paine!

This was a very special Q&A! How blessed you are to have two very Godly mothers in your life. I am not a new mother, but a mother of 2 boys ages 10 and 14 and I have made so many mistakes. I would love to hear about how she was when the kids were younger. How she kept her composure. How she handled when the kids would fight. How she would handle stress and how she found an outlet for it. I would love to hear some things like that.
