Honest question here… with the amount of time you post, edit, comment, etc… when do you have time to actually spend with the kids? It seems like 12 kids would be all day every day. I work a full time job and have 4 kids and barely have enough time with them. Would you quit doing this if the kids needed you more or is the money more important. I’m asking honestly here not being mean.

I´m from Germany and these pancakes in your video are definitely not german pancakes 😅first important thing about german cooking/baking. We never use cups, always a scale. These are typicaly german pancakes: 250g wheat flour 125 mililiter milk 3 Eggs a little bit of baking soda Butter for the pan Mix the wheat flour, milk, eggs and baking soda in a bowl. Melt some butter in a pan and take some pancake batter in the pan. German pancakes are big, not so tiny like the american pancakes. The batter needs to cover the whole ground of the pan. Bake the pancake batter until it is firm, flip it on the other side and bake it from the other side. We eat pancakes with hot applesauce or hot blueberry sauce. Never with syrup 😉

If you ever get your hands on some cast iron skillets you should try the Dutch baby/German pancake in them. Amazing heat retention, beautiful crust plus a bit of extra iron in your diet (that’s what they say). Plus, the sizzle that you hear when you pour the batter in is amazing.

Good Morning!! We make triple batches for our crew of 13, and we call them German Pancakes once we add the apples. No apples, Dutch Baby. My grandparents are from Austria, and that's what I remember growing up. Looks good!! Love your new lunch boxes! Have a great day, DD family!

She probably vies everyone the same amount to start. As the younger kid, i I saw my older brothers get more in the beginning I always demanded more even tho I NEVER ate it. I think it’s just easier to start everyone in the same level. Just a thought

I'm under the weather, too. It's that time of year. I canceled my caseworker, I don't want her mom getting sick, her mom has heart failure. It's important to let others know when you are sick, and just stay home.

If you changed your salted butter to unsalted you would get less sodium, which then you wouldn't risk having things come out too salty. Just some advice from someone that's been baking a long time.

I am not sure what you would call these pancakes but they look more like a lazy version of Kaiserschmarren. In my region of Germany you would make your pancakes like the french crepes but thicker (but not as fluffy as American pancakes). Just wanted to mention that 😂 Have a great day !!❤❤

Is there a way to not get comments on videos as a viewer? I don't really know how this works. I only want to watch the meal prep for ideas for myself, the comments aren't necessary and a lot of them seem tone deaf and negative. Obliviously, her kids have homework, ot, Dr appts etc so they are not shown doing that stuff or chores. It's so strange to me strangers complain about things that are of no concern of theirs. Either watch or move on. No one seems to change how things are done because of the criticism.
