I'm pretty strong-willed and always up for a good fight for injustice, but their murders literally would suck the oxygen out of my lungs. Anjum, you are a brave, self sacrificing, to go through the marriage abuse and then to deal with their murders. I am so happy that you have managed to take your pain and turn it into something for good. Bless you! I hope you can achieve your goal and make your daughters proud, as I am sure they are already just in the goals you have set for yourself. Much love ❤️ and hugs, Anjum. P.S. @@rubenbates2709 I was in a relationship with a narcissist for 6 years. There were a lot of manipulation, and fear tactics used to get me to stay. I tried many times to break it off. But, he would love bomb, and offer false promises, or he would go the opposite and make me feel as though if I left him he wouldn’t let me go without severe consequences. It happens more often to women with narcissistic men. But, it’s a whole lot of mind games. The answer is to keep a close eye on those you love and look for subtle signs. I never went to my family to tell them I was terrified of leaving and couldn’t get this person out of my life. @@rubenbates2709 Geez trolling much ? You have no idea what you’re talking about I’ve had extended family members who’ve gone through domestic situations as well as a dad you used to get incredibly angry when he drank(let me tell you when my siblings and I were small mom came VERY close to leaving)luckily my dad genuinely didn’t want to lose us so he cleaned up and started getting help. Abusers like this are very manipulative and controlling because they will say anything to keep their significant other close preparing to leave and severing ties officially with the person who is hurting you are the most dangerous times. The person you’re victim blaming as well as this mom who lost her daughters are NOT at fault if you have daughters yourself(or have any in the future)I genuinely hope that they don’t go through anything like this and get the response that you’ve given here frankly I hope NONE of the females in your family experience a situation of fear and terror that is domestic violence it’s very obvious to me that your ignorance about this is extremely clear and I hope you educate yourself. You have absolutely zero right to judge anyone who is or has been in a domestic situation because it’s not always so cut and dry and you don’t always know the whole story, think about those aspects before commenting to berate someone about what they did or didn’t do.

@@dawnatkinson7704 gun laws do not stop people from committing crimes. Crime is already illegal, & murder is also already illegal. All more gun laws do is ensure that law abiding citizens have a harder time having guns while criminals have guns. I know this is shocking but people who are going and planning on committing murder and armed robberies don't care about a gun law. Just look at Chicago where guns are ILLEGAL yet highest gun crime& highest shootings. If we didn't have guns then people would just use other ways, hence why places that don't have guns have higher stabbings& bombs& acid attacks. As a woman who's husband works off during the week = If 1 -4+ men were to break into my home, & I don't have a shotgun to protect myself, I'm at the mercy of the man or men to decide if I'm going to be beat, beat to death, raped & or murdered Infront of my 2 children. Even if those men themselves don't have guns. How would u suggest I protect myself? With no guns involved on either side, am I going to try to be really ignorant & fist fight them? So I can really get beat. Or try to pepper spray them so I can really piss them off & once again, really get beat? Or worse what happens when they have ILLEGAL guns & I have nothing but a knife? Am I supposed to just ask them nicely not to rape & or beat me? No 🚩 if someone comes into my home - Amy responsible gun owner knows shooting is used as a last resort, but if I have say 1 to 4 men break into my home , It is a basic human right to be able to protect yourself & children against people who are inside your home to do u harm. The government does NOT need to be able to tell it's peasants/ citizens that we're not allowed to protect our lives. Absurd. Do u realize how many break ins happen every day? I would be absolutely terrified not having a gun & just being a sitting duck for if &when even one man decides to ever attack me or break in & do me harm. People also die in car wrecks every day, should we make it harder to get drivers licenses too?

The only way for her plans to work is if people in abusive relationships report the abuse to the police. The DV report will show up in the background check. Calling family members for a reference won't help. The family member called may not be aware of the abuse or could choose to lie. Some DV survivors will deny being abused. For some reason, some of us DV survivors were protective of our abusers. I remember thinking, I don't want to get him in trouble. I remember telling family and friends that everything is fine and hiding from them that I was being abused. It took me having self love to leave the relationship and to stop caring more about him than I cared for myself.

Now what if this situation would have been a little different? What if the father had a knife & was threatening to kill his children & the mother had a legal gun & was able to save her children by killing their father?? Would you feel differently about guns?

Where is the mother’s responsibility for not leaving. “Ask for a divorce”? Bullshit, this had NOTHING TO DO with gun control

@Jo Pearson being abused doesn’t negate your responsibility to be a parent first. He didn’t want kids, and she stayed and gave him two. He was on drugs and alcohol, she complained to no one. There are COUNTLESS organizations both government and private that would get her and her daughters out of that house SAME DAY. it is wholly her responsibility to leave a negligent situation, she did not protect her children, and had 17 years to DO SOMETHING. ANYTHING. he didn’t just wake up and become abusive that day, as evidenced by the daughters writing. She should have called the police, and CPS if she couldn’t handle it. All she is doing now is collecting money, profiting off of her daughter’s deaths, and absolving herself of ALL responsibility by playing the victim. Her DAUGHTERS were the victims. Think about that. She is getting paid for this. We HAVE COMMON SENSE GUN LAWS. This is entirely political - particularly bc frankly you can blame most of her behavior on the fundamentals of the religion she was raised under. None of these things are ‘nice’ I’m aware. All of them are true. I was in an abusive marriage. I left at 8mo pregnant. There is no excuse for putting your children through that. Her husband wasn’t estranged, they were still together. Did you not hear the daughters words? She was crying out for help then. The system failed them, not gun control Their father was going to hurt them no matter the weapon he found, may they both take their spot next to God in heaven

Wow! Sorry for her loss, but people kill people, with knives, guns, cars, baseball bats; basically they kill with different objects including poison and strangulation. Why blame the gun he used? 🔫 Sorry for everything you've gone through 😞 Your strength is amazing.

My mom tried to kill me twice, she sent me to the neighbors (who had company) for "ice"... I was 11 and my dad, who she cheated on, was getting remarried... As I was walking out the door she said "Do you want to take a piece of chicken with you?" I didn't see the Doberman until I was at the top of their stairs...oh, I had the chicken leg in my mouth when he landed on me, and his teeth were deep in my skin. She told everyone that I wanted to go over there, all on my own... I'm going to be 56 and I can still hear her behind me... It's ok... God was watching her... she died last year, two weeks after I wrote and told her I knew what she did... instead of confronting me, she continued to lie, to make everyone believe her... Whatever is done in the dark will always be brought to the light...

It's illegal to murder someone. It's illegal to use a gun in commission of a felony. How many more illegals do we need to pile on? This crime could of been committed with a knife. Bad people will do bad things. Leave my rights alone.

I'm sorry for your loss. But guns are not the problem! Bad evil people will always find a way to Lame and kill! And if we were to give up our guns which will never happen we would be in the same predicament that Canada and Australia is in right now!

My heart goes out to her! You're so right about criminals(demonically possessed) always finding a way to get a firearm. Cane killed Abel with a rock. It just makes it harder to get a gun for law abiding citizens.

Guns in the hands of the wrong people are the problem. Proper and thorough background checks need to be mandatory. Sue gun sellers who don’t properly vet sale of a deadly weapon.

I sympathize with this mother but this is not an severe problem. Its rare, so I know its hard to lose your children but Think - normally guns save. Moms needs help, that's why it used to take community. Allowing your children to be with an abuser was her first mistake. Blame your husband NOT the gun - he could've used a knife or drove car off a cliff, etc.

🙏 This insane man would have bought the gun from a friend, off the street, etc. People do it everyday. Shooting is faster and easier. Or he would have stabbed them to death. Or used a baseball bat. Or choked them to death. He was insane. A ticking time bomb. What a horrible disgraceful act to commit. I feel so bad for the mother. Please take good care of yourself. ☮️💔✝️
