jhope’s idol is jcole!!! this song was him paying homage to him for being his inspiration. he started out as a street dancer and then started rapping after listening to jcole. they met at lollapalooza where they both performed and jhope told him his favorite mixtape was friday night lights. that’s why he has so many bars in the song while hobi has one verse and the hook to pay his respects. i love your reaction and you and your mom are so cute :)
