It was actually the mother’s proactive request to ask for the father be given more access to by phone because she wants their child to stay in contact with his father. The mother merely requested that overnight visits be at her discretion for now due to the father’s arrest for criminal activity. There is noting controlling about a parent wanting to make sure that their child is safe. It sounds like the father is being accountable for his actions and wanting for a better outcome for his and his child’s future. I’m sure if he gets the help he needs, they will all 3 move forward and the child can have time with both parents in person.

Is the dad pleading guilty in his criminal case? Otherwise, this judge should not be over this case or asking him questions that could incriminate himself. Seems like a conflict.
