I met her while she was filming Baywatch on the beach in California. It was 1994, I was 18 years old and this was the height of her popularity. Not only did I get to meet her, but she invited my friend and I to sit with her and talk to her while she had some down time. We talked to her for a good while and she was the nicest, sweetest, most gracious person anyone would have the good fortune of meeting. It's been 30 years and ever since that day she will always be the famous person I admire most for just being a great human being. She still looks amazing and still has that wonderful personality and quick wit. So happy to see her on the Stephen Colbert Late Show.

She has a show you might love -- called Pamela's Garden of Eden and streaming on Disney. She owns 6 acres on Vancouver Island; it was a property with rental cabins that belonged to her grandparents since the 1950s. She renovates the property and tries to convince her elderly parents to move to the property so she can be close to them. It's right on the water and it's lovely. I mention this because I just finished watching the series and I want her to be my friend too. She is such a lovely person.

She was gorgeous as a young model, before any surgery. In fact, she was much better looking before, I always thought. Shame. But it is so nice to see her natural and accepting age with grace. It is definitely not an easy thing for a regular person, and must be extremely difficult for people who are or were constantly in the spotlight. I'm glad she seems to have found a place of peace, and is still doing good things. And, yes, eating a healthy diet sure as hell helps!
