Teachers in the modern world are ridiculously ignorant of almost everything they're supposed to be teaching! Have you talked to the society out there lately? They don't know how many states are in our country, they can't do basic math, they don't know how to spell, they have no idea what ZIP codes are for, unless it has something to do with TV or the internet these kids don't understand it whatsoever! So if I were you I wouldn't be bragging that you are related to a teacher! There are no good teachers because good teachers leave public schools to go to Charter Schools! And there are less and less of those people as well! Haven't you looked at Libs of tik tok? There are no good teachers anymore in public schools so get over yourself

@@Julie-ey2lq teachers across the country are teaching kids about sex! These kids are graduating out of school and they can't do basic math! They have no idea that we have a country under a constitutional conservative! Teachers do not need to be respected nowadays because what they're teaching is the liberal propaganda! People like you who blindly support teachers are the problem! You are the reason we have bad teachers

I use the megaphone in my classroom 😄 Yes, I use it to get their attention- scare them out of their naps- The siren is fun for those times when collaborative work talk becomes toooooo loud😂 The best gift I could get from parents is support- I want nothing more than a supportive parent. make sure your child gets to bed early enough. Feed them breakfast before they come to school. Make sure they are prepared and have completed their work. Communicate with me. I am human and I am not perfect I make mistakes and I’m more than willing to admit that I make mistakes but come to me and talk to me. don’t talk trash about your child’s teacher in front of your child. It confuses them and it makes them think that they can be disrespectful in the classroom. you don’t have to like me but we can respect each other-

I love all these ideas, the moms and the dads. Two things: 1) as a front office worker at an elementary school, I see the struggle that teachers deal with on the daily (and yes, including weekends!). Our school system will not improve unless people contact their school boards and administrative departments of their districts, and vote to make changes in their elections as well. 2) I wrote notes to my boys when they were in school, all the way up through high school, and even their first year of college (my boys are now 33, 32, and 31). They still remember those notes and all three said that it was often the difference between a good and bad day. Show your kids some love! :)

School teacher and mom here! I really appreciate what you said. Every year we pour a lot of our own money into our classrooms to make sure every kid has what they need, we have extra snacks for the kid that doesn’t have one, our classroom is welcoming, fun and organized with 20+ kids in it all day. All the while we often struggle to get a 1% raise which never offsets the increase in our medical insurance costs. But we teach because we love kids, we want them to reach their dreams and we want to help them all along that journey.

@Alan-iu1we2 жыл бұрын
I understand the thought behind moms providing the "necessities" while dads seemingly goof around, but in all honesty this highlights to me what makes moms and dads different. What dads bring to the family is so vital. In most families I've been around, moms are ensuring the physical needs are being met, but dads (the good ones) are providing mental and emotional well-being. I'm sure both parents are seeking to provide in all these areas, but it's amazing to me how belittled fathers get for not "doing enough" when in reality dads are who most kids run to when they are frightened, sad, or excited. Everything Taylor had was thoughtful more to the kids emotional and mental well-being (fun wake up, fun pick up from school, message notes) and even the teacher's well-being got attention. Heidi had the kids physical well being in mind with her items (food lists, clothing etc). Both to me are vital, and one shouldn't be frowned down upon because it isn't addressing the physical "necessities".

Also the post its are cute, but like the music those kind words and wisdom are spoke to everyday. Actually turning music off on the way to school just to talk to them about what to expect or if they have any Questions is always great. 6 adults and they had great times and memories.
