Agreed with the sentiment but all you have to do is look at the figures, crime rates based on arrests and convictions would tell a very different story. But that's looking at the end result and not so much how it got that way. Rather simply, access to education, quality of living, quality of housing, access to work etc plays a surprisingly large part, hell single mother households have a fuckload to answer for here, 50% chance to be in jail based on that alone is pretty tucked. To be perfectly honest the lack of real handling of these criminals in a just manner also plays heavily into these things. Again, understand the sentiment, but the facts quite literally say otherwise

Well done for reporting them correctly as mopeds and not ebikes. Most people don't know the difference. ebikes (or EAPCs to be precise) have the performance of a moderately fit beginner on a push bike, those things in the video might look like mountain bikes but have 1,000 watt motors and are essentially electric mopeds. As no type approval exists for these type of moped they are impossible to insure so cannot be used legally on the road. Ebikes have the same legal status as bicycles
