An international hunt is under way for the gang that killed two prison officers and left two others in a critical condition after ambushing their vans to free a convict, the French interior minister said on Wednesday.
Gérald Darmanin said that the authorities had implemented an “unprecedented” operation to find Mohamed Amra, who was at large for a second day after escaping in the ambush.
