On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.

My "favorite deaths" are still 1) running an F-15 into the ground, sliding to a stop, and watching as a MiG-31 lines up for a strafing pass, and 2) crash-landing an Apache and watching as Russian ground vehicles approach to administer the coup de grace. But surviving an ejection and then getting killed by a car is definitely up there.

If you're in a flat spin and the enemy passes by your nose on every rotation, by all means stay with it and take a couple potshots. But this is not that.

@@pyrotechnicalbirdman5356 GS specifically has a habit of delaying ejection basically just to provide commentary. Heck, in this scenario it's four seconds from when he acknowledges that it's time to GTFO until he actually leaves the aircraft. Particularly when there's risk of becoming inverted you need more altitude and more time to impact when you get out. Rather than calmly remarking that Jester was out, he should have used the time he took to say that to follow him (and really, he should have been gone by them anyways).

That flyby was an attempt to collapse your canopy. Then the next bandit drops a missile on you. When the 18 is lululu and you want to recommit, turn slightly to one side, then reverse. It pushes the missile away from your turn and costing missile energy. When dedicated cold running for your life, slow spiral or make 8's with your nose. The constant changes are immediately translated into missile maneuvers. Without vertical flight path change the missile will catch you, or it won't. But with vertical change it falls short quicker and predicts flight paths through obstacles like the ground or the water.
