I'm a HUGE fan of yellow squash, onion, and zucchini.. I saute slices of these with olive oil, garlic, parsley and white pepper and toss it with cooked angel hair pasta. So good! You're doing your Mama proud! ❤ Happy birthday sir! 🎉🎈❤

Marshall, if you want your dad to gain weight quickly, do what I did for my dad when he lost weight after his lung collapsed. I fed him a bowl of ice cream every evening. In one month, he put on 15 pounds.

I can attest that eating ice cream every night after dinner or after, will definitely help most people gain weight. I did, so I rarely eat ice cream now.

I love fried yellow squash!! Yrs ago a pastor from Louisiana told me recipe vegetable gumbo. Yellow squash,onions,okra,green tomatoes,& potatoes. You can leave any of it out. But it is so good fried up,& makes a meal almost itself!! Sure good with brown beans,sliced ripe tomatoes!!

Those fresh vegetables and ground meat cooked in is wonderful. We call it goulash. A plain green tomato with a blush of red on it really makes the pan of meat and veggies taste so good.
