There is also an Irish myth/legend about the Holly King and the Oak King. They represent winter or summer, ice or fire, and a few other opposite attributes. That’s what popped into my head when I heard their names, that they were twins and their elements, but I am a big mythology nerd!

I actually really liked Sunny’s outfit during the finale, but I’m super curious as to how they plan on translating that look (and a few other’s such as Jade’s) onto their doll counterparts. So excited that Bella is back! Mostly so that we can get more Jella content lol, but I think your theory about her being a TA makes loads of sense!

I actually love the studs. I'm not a huge fan of the overly large ratings that just get tangled in there hair and stuff so the fact they made smaller simpler earrings is a huge plus for me

The finale was beautiful though it left me very curious about how the runway dolls are going to look. Like Sunny’s umbrella look and Jade’s lightning look were amazing but I have no idea how those will work on the dolls. I did love Poppy and Skylar’s looks, and I’m excited for Jet Dawson’s doll and show appearance. Also, I’m super excited because I just won the Krystal Bailey doll in that giveaway that was going on on the Rainbow High Instagram.

I absolutely loved the finale!! The looks were stunning, Bella coming back (and with the car!) was such a great ending, the cameos were great! I just loved it all. Seeing Emerald with the other boy, Colin and Aidan just re enforced my need for more boy dolls.

I think this sculpt is meant to represent a different race and I'm curious if Jett will have it too. The evil twins will hopefully be a comic sort of villany but I guess we'll see. Your favorite is mine but both are pretty (I do wish they had the same eye color but I guess they're fraternal?). Fashions wise the 'toy chat' review channel broke the details down - The second pair of shoes are chanel, the bags are balenciaga and the dresses are lanvin with a print inspired most likely by the 'louis vuitton/stephen sprouse' collection. Also Sunny's dress is a direct runway reference too?? Fashion show wise Sky was my favorite overall but Jade was cool and Sunny had great hair & makeup for sure. Sunny calling Ms. Wright 'mom' was either a really big hint or her accidentally doing so LOL. And Bella reappearing - with the new car playset in tow - is definitely curious. I wonder if she's simply reapplied for the next/upcoming semester and had to talk to them about her original rules violation and not doing that again. Hmm...

I thought all of the girls looked great. The only cheesy part was Sunny's umbrella dress but I liked it before the transformation. Instead of having her skirt pop out upside down, having it pop and be more like a ball gown would have been cool. Violets hair was so pretty.....Jade was edgy..... Ruby was fierce. Skylar was pretty (loved the hair) but her dress felt safe and I would like to see her in something that doesn't look like blue jean materials. Poppy looked elegant....her butterfly heals were so cute!... Amaya looked pretty and I dont know magical.... almost fairy like.

I really like those dolls, they're so beautiful! My fave part, well, parts, of the finale are Bella, Jett, and the probability that we're getting runway dolls! My fave 3 runway looks are Amaya's, Poppy's, and Ruby's. Jade's was cool, but I'm intrigued how they'll make it IRL.

I would say that, Laurel Colors are more into a sunset vibes with the red, orange yellow and pink. And for Holly she would be more into a Aurora colors, the Nothern lights during the night

I think all new collections have different molds. The twins are Asian same for Jett Dawson (who has a diff face mold) I also think the African American dolls have different noses/face molds as well which I LOVE!!!

Your review changed my opinion COMPLETELY. My first thoughts were: ⚡️my ADD brain needs to stop playing Pat Benatar’s “Fire & Ice” (which I am still singing45 mins later) & ⚡️that color looks beautiful on Melissa. Upon seeing these dolls, I screamed. First, because every doll so far has been even more beautiful than their already amazing animated version. Second because I’m a twin & go bonkers anytime I see twin dolls. My eye was immediately drawn to Holly…we were born on Christmas, so any doll remotely associated w/ it (in dress or name only) has always seemed to grab my subconscious. Her facial mold, makeup, nails & dress: gorgeous! But the hair is what I loved best when I first saw her & I loved it even more after the detailed look. 🔥And then Laurel. Didn’t realize at first just the depth of color in her hair until you showed it closer. And those shoes!! Both!! Gorgeous! Her dress didn’t impress me at the unboxing…but close up, I loved it too! They are both just beautiful, beautiful dolls…but Holly is now my 2nd favorite. 🥶 As for the finale, I was so confused why Skyler didn’t have a transformation. I replayed 7 times thinking I just wasn’t seeing it. Thank you for saying this so I know I’m not completely crazy. As much as I love Sunny, I didn’t care for that dress. Jade’s knocked my socks off…something about it had a Pizzaz/Misfits vibe & being obsessed w/ Jem since 85…she won hands down for me. Thanks for another great review. I have been asking for a RH doll on every gift giving occasion since last Christmas, but my family looks at me like I’ve completely lost it, so hasn’t happened yet. Maybe my odds will improve on this twin release. My last set was 36 years ago…Cabbage Patch, so it’s about time 🤣

They are both gorgeous, for me I love Ruby's hair. I've washed and conditioned it, combed it out with a steel tooth comb and I can just sit for ages twirling it with my fingers. The original curls pop back easily and it feels so soft XX

I was so excited for the finale Poppy’s gown was beautiful but not much of a change. Ruby and Amaya’s gowns are my favorites but Jades look was absolutely gorgeous to me. Also not only were the twins in the finale but our secret raven/rainbow hair girl was as well. I think she’s going to be Jett Dawson I’m so excited to get my twin dolls. Hi! unpopular opinion time!! I loved the finale . I didn't like that Skyler was the only one who didn't get a transformation but i think the fact that she didn't fits her personality. sonny's dress after the transformation fits her personality but I think it's impractical. the animation did the twins dirty. they look way prettier as dolls and as box art. I like the new face mold and love how it's not drastically different from what we've seen. and finally I do not like the new neck mold. the amount of hair that is rooted into the dolls is very heavy and causes the doll to constantly look like she is looking up.

My only issue with them is that this is yet again, another set of antagonistic twins. I feel like in a lot of media (kids media especially) they make the twins the mean ones (i.e. Meowledy and Purrsephone, the Tweevils, Biskit Twins, etc.). I’m sure they’ll be good characters, but as a twin myself, it’s kinda disheartening to see more demonization of twins.

Yep. When I was growing up tv shows, cartoons and movies used to always give the evil character black hair, which sucked for me because I'm black-haired and so is most of my family. It just kind of feels awful after a while. I hear ya. I notice it happening less now than when I was a kid, though. But yeah, now they always make twins evil.

First off, congratulations on your Doll Awards award! I was so happy when you won! OK so I got these twins today and they are both amazing! I prefer Holly, but blue and green are my favorite colors so that’s probably why. I also got Scarlet Rose today and I put Scarlet’s accessories in one of Laurel’s trunks! My Holly has a tiny bit of blue paint on one of her hands, so I’m just telling myself Assistant made a mistake. When in doubt, blame Assistant. 😂 Sheryl and Natasha are not happy to see the twins, but my soft sweeties Karla and Victoria are reminding them that it’s Christmas. Aside from my Purple Pieman from my very early childhood, I NEVER had antagonist dolls and I bought the twins to cause some trouble. 😂 The RH cartoon reminds me so much of when I used to watch Jem, which I consider my “gateway” soap opera. I was watching the Rainbow High episodes before bed. It’s eye candy.

I don’t think Skyler got a transformation because she already had hers throughout the season. She came out of her shell and got more confident in herself so the transformation already happened. She didn’t need one because it had already happened, idk that’s just what I think. 😂

My daughter & I love Holly we just found them today at Target a very nice worker went to the back to get them for us and we found the gold rush mini brands and bought 1 of those since the price is $9.99 on those.
