Personally I prefer the RH dolls because of the articulation, size proportions, inset eyes, lashes, stands and lack of vinyl in their fashion 😂 but I loved these when these came out, though I will never at that price I much prefer the skintones they game us. Blue Sky's skin tone on Skyler would be perfection. Honestly I just really adore darker skinned dolls with colourful hair, they're my favourite.

I have Skyler Bradshaw and yeah, her hair has a ton of gel in it, but I managed to brush it out and lemme just tell you, her hair is SOOOOOO SOFT!

I washed it out with dish soap really quickly

I have pixie rose in the updated packaging. I also have one from the old packaging. I didn't use the slime either. It was a weird concept to me. I wish pixie rose came with the pink shoes rainbow dream is wearing.

This comparison reminds me of the My Pretty Pony and My Little Pony G1 first line compareson. Since MPP was basically larger ponies then Hasbro was on to something and shrank them down to be smaller and they turned into the highly successful MLP line we know and love.

Rainbow Dream is also the name of the band that rainbow high dolls Lyric Lucas, Vanessa Tempo, and Carmen Major play in. 16:47 violet has that exact outfit in the show. You can see here that the Amethyst doll has a darker clothing color palette in the jacket (same make, but violet's is a much light shade). In the show, violet's shirt and skirt combo are a similar color to her jacket, but in the same design as the 16" doll's

I just got Rainbow Dream today and she is gorgeous!!! But mine had quite a few flaws-- smelled chemical-like, tattooed arms were strangely sticky, and her underwear smudged badly. The paint wiped away when I cleaned her off to get rid of the weird scent. I'm not that mad--her hair and face were fine (she did have sticky glue on her brow I had to clean as well), but at that price point, it has to be better. I'm just easy to please because her hair is pretty and I don't get myself many dolls 🤷‍♀️ but honestly it's hard to swallow how much MGA charges for their lack of quality control. As someone who grew up with Bratz it is a huge bummer.

The hair looks more vibrant and her lips look fuller than before. I bought her blind box. Mine has pretty good rooting. Very little shedding. I put a yellow extension in. If they re-release are the same, heres my notes: 1. Rainbow also has roller skates but dont be fooled by the picture. She doesnt have those earrings. And the rainbow hair is all in the back of the head, almost hidden. 2. Blue has the prettiest eyes and hair. Cool out fit but along with Pink and Rainbow that jacket is terrible getting their hands through. 3. Purple also has tattoo sleeves like Rainbow and a vest instead of jacket, much easier. Hate the bangs but once ripped out cant even tell they were there. Outfit is a tie with blue as coolest. 4. Pink is the least striking but no plain jane. She didnt wow me like the others but still a gorgeous doll. Theyre great and huge. Very big. A barbie dress becomes a shirt. Ha! Have a happy day.

This makes me so frustrated! I would've adored a Violet doll with dark skin as it's my favorite color. I'm incredibly disappointed by the decision to lighten her skin. I really hope we get a lavender, periwinkle or even baby blue RH doll with dark skin. (My collection is focused on ethnic dolls).

My daughter of course loves to make the slime but it is so messy 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ I love the dolls though the jumbo ones, RH fashion dolls, and fantasy friends. My daughter just has 5 more of series 2 to open for Halloween then our collection is complete 🎉👍❤️🤗🌈🧚‍♀️. I got super lucky to find 2 full boxes of 9 at Target. My daughter loves the Rainbow Hair 1 we have Amethyst & Pixie so far.
