Shocked they have big heads. I feel like the concept works better with these smaller/more cartoonishly proportioned dolls…but MGAs BTW dolls are just better…in my opinion. These Mattel ones def look better for dolls to actually play with though.

like with some of the comments, i'm also quite confused on what the minis are supposed to be since they're VERY different from chelsea or stacie lol but in any case, i prefer these outfits to their big sisters cuz they look so much more cohesive and trendy! also really appreciate that mattel is putting more effort into the clothes again, so excited for what the year has in store for babs!

The good thing about these is that you can swap their heads with Chelsea dolls for more articulation! I'm excited for what they are bringing in so far! Mattel needed to step up and looks like they are. They do need to do something about Barbie's face though, how many clones can we get?

@@jamieowens2925 This Barbie face doesn't have the IT factor, I don't like the eye print, Barbie is an icon! She should look like one, back in the 90's Barbie never looked the same, the hair, makeup, eyes, were always different. In a time where people are plastering their faces with makeup, we get plain Barbie, Don't get me wrong I like the barbie Extra N3 can take great pics with her, but a normal MTM face barely ever.

The proportions and the faces remind me of Ever After High more than Barbie. I do love these little ones as their own collection, though. I collected Kelly dolls back in the day completely separate from Barbie and never treated her as Barbie's little sister. I just love tiny dolls. THank you for showing us these girls.

These look great. Great size as well. As a nerodivergent person, I always have a barbie on me when I go out as a "comfort item" (something I had been really against for a long time, thinking it was childish, until I finally just tried it), but the normal barbies are a little big sometimes to take out. So, these might be perfection to slip in a jacket pocket. I'm thinking wither the skater or maybe the blonde with the fuzzy jacket? not sure yet. I do LOVE the jacket on the other one. Don't know when I'll get to the store next.

The articulation is everything for me! I love the LOL BTW dolls, but one thing that really gets to me is the lack of knee articultion. I still prefer the clorhes and general designs for the lol ones, but gosh, the things you can do with articulated dolls. In the perfect world (for me) BTW dolls would get knee articulation.

I thought these would be vinyl like the monster high minis when they announced them but they're the size of a hairdorable and is an actual doll more than figure. The fashions that size are so tiny and cute. PS i love those inspirational bracelets. I remember wearing the wwjd bracelets as a kid and these are so much better. I wish I wore jewelry more cuz these are so pretty.

I like the Barbie Extra Line some of the dolls are really nice and broke away from the Fashionistas a bit, the ones I have are all on MTM bodies now. These are sweet dolls but I called them Chelsea Body donors and the heads will be good repaint practise. I wanna collect all of the Barbie Extra line, they should start doing Ken Extra dolls and Skippers etc, but then again still waiting for a MTM Skipper doll! Keep the good vibes going!

I'll be honest, I haven't been that enthused with Barbie Extra (there are a few I like, though Barbie in general has never been my favorite) but I love the minis! I like their face sculpts, I think they're styled better than the standard Extras, and the price point seems really reasonable for the quality. I hope these are the first of many more to come. Of this first run the one in the sprinkles dress and the one with the green sweatsuit are must buys for me. Funny enough I'm not that into the puffy jacket but do love the fanny pack. 😂 This is like what I had always wished Hairdorables were.

I just wanted to ask what type of missions they do in Haiti. The one the owners of that shop the sells bracelets supports. I ask because I’m not sure if its in Haiti but what I heard was that there were missionaries going around and “saving” the people from their own religion. They also said that the missionaries said that what they believe is satanic and unholy. I’m not sure if its in Haiti but thats what I remember. I think it's odd to label these "Barbie" because I associate Barbie with a regular head size so I have a strange aversion to their big head size. To me, I think I would have liked these so much better if they just weren't called "Barbie" but I think Mattel did that because it's a marketable name and large headed dolls are really in. Gotta say these dolls are the bare minimum from Mattel 😭 the way her hair frizzed up as soon as you brushed it can't be excused by the playline tag when Tweens are the same and their hair is soft and luscious (and they also have tiny wrist articulation for such small size). Definitely don't like these mini dolls.... Only like the violet bear outfit to give to my Fancy Gurl, hoping it fits 🙈

They are major nope for me. Ugly faces with eyebrows like hairy caterpillars; tacky, cheap outfits; plastic beanie and way overpriced for what they are. I would rather add those 5$ and get LOL Tweens - cuter, better outfits.
