Something I noticed throughout most of the set, is that Ab doesn’t go for run up grabs when they know Chunky is staying in one spot going for a punish. I’ve seen one tomahawk attempt and one regular grab. I know mario aerials are busted against heavies, but it was just an observation I noticed

Hard grab callouts could easily mean death, chunky could react pretty easily with a dash back or just a meaty move to control the space. Also Ave did like 4 or 5 tomahawk attempts, Chunky just doesn't usually put himself in positions where a grab is viable

Maybe! I think you’re right. I just think some of the close up encounters could’ve been left with a (not so hard grab read) which could’ve heightened Ave’s chances of winning. Like you said, Chunky would most likely dash away if he knew a grab was coming… which *could* leave them at a neutral spot. You’re right though! It’s not as easy as it looks
