Myheritage shows Swiss as a mix of Iberian, South European, Polish and French because it did not sample Swiss people so it shows them as geographic middle of those regions. On the other hand 23&me which is Jewish owned and ran deliberately looks to classify genes as Jewish so it can 'unite diaspora with their heritage and preserve it'.

I think that this type of study is fantastic. It puts all of our lives into a perspective that we previously had no idea about. National Geographic has, on KZbin, videos of DNA studies that show "All men" (through the "Y" chromosome) share the exact DNA marker from people in Eastern Africa. We are all related, and the sooner we begin to treat one another as such the sooner the world will be a far better place.
@octaviaeguabor95168 жыл бұрын
Zebulon Citanul All men actually DON'T share the same Y chromosome like previously thought. Look it up. A black man in my home state (SC) discovered that his chromosomes go back about 338,000 years that's the oldest found so far. And it WASN'T from East Africa... It was from West Africa (Cameroon)..... A very important clarification in the ethnicity results. They do not write the Kurdish race directly, but they say West Asian and Iran, meaning the Aryan race and the Caucasian race is a very ancient , that extends to all races such as European and others and cannot be limited to the Turks and according to your genetic analysis, you are at least 60% Kurdish

@@NIKOS_GEROSIDERIS The issue of the origins of the current Kurdish people, I think, is very complicated. The current Kurds were formed through the migrations of the ancient Aryan civilizations that extended from Iran to Anatolia, meaning every Aryan civilization, whether Mitanni, Medea, Gutian, Hithi, or Hurians, has an ethnic impact on the Kurdish people and the current inhabitants of Anatolia and even Armenians and Azerbaijanis،

1:40 I can definitely relate. When you grow up as part of a marginalized conflict, and are told from a young age about your “enemies,” or “oppressors,” or “rivals,” there is a seed planted. Deep down you know it’s wrong to think that way. You don’t want to think that way. It becomes fear/bias you can’t control having, but you can control your reaction to that fear. For her to acknowledge that fear and say “that’s not true, and it’s wrong, and everyone is equal.” She’s strong for that. Many people would consider thinking like that as “betrayal” or “hating your own people.” But it’s not. I can really relate to her.

Elahah, you should know that you have a country and that is Iran or old Persia. Ancient inhabitant of the today's Iran were Persians and Medes who were cousins. Cyrus the great who started Persian Empire 2600 years ago was half Medes and half Persian. Medes and Persians were both considered as Iranian races. Medes were in fact the ancestors of all the today's Kurdish people including you. Your ancestors lived in Iran long before other races came there.

agape the Ottomans or Seljuks or the Turks whatever you want to call them they, they establish their “country” on a big area but today they don’t say give me my “piece of land” back. Or the Inuits in Amerika they don’t say fuck you Europeans i want my land back. If the Kurds could accept that Turkey is their country too there wouldn’t be any conflicts. There are circa 100 countries but there are millions of different ethnics. if every ethnic wants a “piece of land” the world would be desperate and destroyed. The infrastructure couldn’t work, there would be more and more problems like the economy and so on. Those lines wich somebody has painted some day called borders are, that’s my opinion, unnecessary. I hope one day that we can speak about being human, living together peacefully and not saying that we belong to “a piece of land” someone gave them names and say this is our land. NO THE WORLD IS OURS. Isn’t that enough?
