Silverbacks have been known to eat up to 70 pounds of Vegetation per day. Momo is much bigger than the others and his caloric needs are much greater. What looks like aggression is simply survival. The others get plenty of food, also, so please understand this family is getting everything they need.

The videos we see are when they are let out to eat and forage.Its 10 mins of the day so she looks like she is eating all the time.Gorillas eat up to 40lbs of greens a day.maybe that will put that into better perspective.Being vegetarians they need to eat alot to make energy& sustain themselves.Happy Gorilla Watching to you always,David. 💜🦍💜🌌😉✨️
