Aww...Kintaro was a naughty little gorilla today. But, Genki kept reinforcing the boundaries. It's all part of the weaning process. Kintaro's almost 5-years-old, and he's having to adjust to not having 24-hour access to Genki, like learning to nap on his own. Still, with all that testosterone in the gorilla house, Genki definitely needs some time all to herself.

Yep. Every single gorilla growing up eventually will attack the mother in an effort to show dominance as they move into adulthood. Unlike humans they exist in a world where the weak ones are vulnerable. Could be injured or killed if they dont step up and get tough. Thats all this is. He is learning to be the boss.

2:50 The long of the short here is pudgy Kintaro is going through withdrawals of not being spoiled by mama 💝 Genki as often as he'd like, and then at times mama Genki moves away from him when he approaches. Kintaro's response: What⁉️ He then protests by messing with his mother (swatting at her) with a bit of a tantrum and acting out. Kintaro will be 5 years next month, and simply going through the growing pains of being weaned. Look, precious mama 💕 Genki said that she has one teenage son that she's successfully raised, and a gorilla child who is still rather young, but is fully weaned so she is enjoying spending more time to herself to sit quietly, and be one with the elements and nature 💁. Besides, the weather has ❄️ changed, and since she doesn't use blankets, or burlap sacks to keep warm she needs her hands to herself to hold her head and preserve body heat 😁. Kintaro is getting a lesson from mom on how to become more independent. He's ok. In spite of all this mama Genki gets annoyed, but she also has the patience of a saint 😌.

人間の母親と一緒でしょうね。時には子供のことで真剣に怒りますよね。でも、嫌いだから怒るわけではない。 怒ってもその後は、普通に接してますからね。 母親は人間もゴリラも、イラッとしたら子供に怒りますよね。(;^_^A キンタロウは、どうなんでしょうね？　悪意は全く感じないので、遊んでるつもりなのでしょう。ただし、回数が多過ぎる。笑

Every mother can watch Genki and realize that she is just not a very good disciplinarian. She lets Kintaro get away with way too much mischief! It doesn't seem as if Momotaro is inclined to intervene either. He does occasionally when Gentaro goes on a rampage and hits Genki very hard with his hands or a stick, but does not seem to think Kintaro's mischief is worthy of fatherly intervention. Perhaps when Kintaro gets a little older, Momotaro will put his foot down and set some rules for the little troublemaker!😁

He’s still in the process of weaning. Look at how she has to constantly cover her breasts. Most of these channels featuring apes (gorillas, orangutans) don’t show that stuff though. In order to see what that looks like in non-human primates you’d have to watch one of the channels featuring monkeys instead.

I'd like to feel sorry for Genki, but she --- along with Momo --- created this spoiled brat but letting him get away with his nonsense for far too long, never in effect, telling him no and sticking with it. They are now reaping what they sowed. One day, he's going to go to far and he'll get hurt. He'll have no one to blame but himself.

@@marilynmicoletti2812 It was the nicest thing I could think of calling him based on his behavior. Perhaps, ill-mannered goblin would have been a better term. In this video, Genki clearly behaves like a human mother does when she's had enough of a child misbehaving (Being a brat). As for them being in an unnatural environment, I have always believed that wild animals should be free to live in Nature as they are intended to, and without human interference. So, please, spare me any lectures.

Kentaro won't aggravate Genski as much as Gentaro treats Genski because, Genski and Kintaro shows Love to each other, and Genski and Gentaro, share no love, Gentaro has no respect for mom, Kintaro has some respect for mom, and mom respects and loves him,all that won't go away, Kintaro will remember mom's love, when he gets Gentaros age, he will aggravate her some because of hormones and becoming a teenager, like all gorillas,but he will treat her better than Gentaro treats her, because Genski has stopped acting like a mom to Gentaro,sence he was 7, right when Kintaro was born.
