So much truth to this. Mom calls you when you are in your 20s to let you know who had a baby. Mom calls you when you are in your 30s to let you know who got a divorce. Mom calls you when you are in your 40s to let you know who died.

So much for women's right let's objectify her shall we? Yeah her personality and comedy are good but why don't we judge her by her skin colour too oh we can't because of that lousy dream that one guy had but who cares as long as it's a compliment. This comment was written in stark sarcasm in case you don't understand. You might think what I just wrote is patronising- I know. Honestly, you need to put your mum on speakerphone and record these conversations. Might seem irritating now, but in retrospect they are hysterical.❤️ My mum died 5 years ago and last year I found an old dictaphone that I had recorded some of her funniest voicemail messages on - (she loved talking to my ansaphone because she could talk for as long as she wanted without me interrupting or cutting her short 😂😂😂) 16 recordings! Lots of her suggesting TV shows I needed to watch: “Nicola, there’s a documentary about internet dating on channel 4 that I think you should watch. Young women are getting KILLED by men they met on these sites!” So glad I recorded them. 😂❤️❤️

Aw haha I miss my grandma lots, she died at 60 per her usual health issues (passed down to me... Yay, thanks genetics lol) and I got to keep a diary she had. There's a few pages where she goes on and on about her cat Sarah and it's the cutest thing ever. I wish I had more pictures and videos with her though, I have near to nothing from her besides memories. My favorite is her being curious about KZbin (I used to make videos, most deleted now besides the ones for the family) and she really wanted to watch my videos so she asked me one day "how do I KZbin?" I showed her how to get to it on chrome and to look up my name etc, she never really fully got it lol but she loved showing her support. She was a great woman and I'm proud she was in my life for as long as she was even if I wish she could have lasted at least 3 more years so she could see me graduate and see me unexpectedly meet the love of my life in highschool. I'll always hold her close to my heart.

God, yes. Being told about every person you've been trying to forget since elementary school ended. "You remember Danielle? She just had twins! And her older sister has three kids!" - "I've never met her sister." - "And her sister's husbad is sooo handy around the house!" - "Why are you telling me this?" - "Because she's your FRIEND! Don't you CARE?!" - "She was not my friend. I was six and she was three, we weren't even playing together, and THAT WAS 30 YEARS AGO!!" "Oh. Well... Sarah's second husband bought her a van and they go camping together." "Sarah WHO??" "Your friend Sarah!" "Sarah from next door? We were never friends!" "Anyway, I'm glad she married him, her first husband was no good." It never stops....

Someone in a comedy movie or tv show needs to add that last part where she said she'd be a Hooter girl :)

If I ever get a text or call of my mom telling me my ex died I'd ask for more information for fun 😂 "was it murder? I hope it was murder" and she'd be pissed.

My mom likes to talk about my boyfriends ex while we eat dinner. Mostly bad things about her, but I've never met her.

That is EXACTLY my mother. I have not lived near my hometown for almost 50 years and yet she expects me to know every house every street every store. And when I say I don't remember that store she does the exact same thing. YOU remember the Shively BASKET store!!?!?

By saying that she says the same thing that the Comedian says does not mean that she is not also difficult to deal with. My mother and I have a very strained and tenuous relationship and have for most of my life.
