How beautiful is our Catholic faith and how you guide us to the depths of Jesus’ heart is a real longing to achieve. Thank you, Fr. Andy, for your homily that leads us to the realisation of how much Jesus’ loved us. There’s no greater joy when Jesus reveals His love to us in an intimate way. His heart full of divine love makes us desire and be one with Him in eternity. Only when we’re open and ready to receive it with humility, gratitude and childlike confidence that we feel fulfilled.

Thank you Fr Andy, your homily really helped me put my possessions into perspective. God blessed me with a home recently and I wanted to dedicate my home to bringing people together in His name for faith based book clubs or bible studies, but I've been having trouble with simplifying my life of material things to make it a peaceful space. I've read about different methods to purge, the most common question being is this a need or a want, but not finding it helpful. I had an epiphany reading today's scripture and listening to your homily...the question I should be asking myself as I simplify my life is "Does this bring me closer to God or does it keep me from Him?" You also mentioned St Ignatius of Loyola whose Spiritual Exercises have been life changing for me and my relationship with God. So thank you Fr Andy for these gems today! I have a clear plan of action now. Glory to God! 🙏🏼Jesus, I Trust in You!💕✝️💦

My Great Grandmother was 12 years old when she married Great Grandfather and had 18 children. He gave land for the first Catholic Church to be built in that area. Gave it to the Bishop and that church is still there named St. Joseph.😊

Father Andy, I absolutely loved your homily today. I shared your analogy of the stick close to the fire with my Cenacle group this morning. You have the best command of words and images to help us understand the Word. St John’s reading also brought to mind something I was thinking about yesterday. I had to drive my two 20 something grand nieces, Visiting me in Florida, to the mall. Mall was quite busy as I was saying to myself : “it’s only stuff it’s only stuff.” Fortunately, I was able to have a conversation with them a little while ago. I hope that I made an impression on them. Imagine they wanted to go shopping just 4 days after Christmas. God bless you, Father Andy, I so enjoy your words and your sentiments and your teachings.
