Tampoco quiero defender a Werner.

As you said, they were both fighting for the win and as much as Jean defended valiantly, Marco was too aggressive and should been on the outside line to overtake. His car was of different year and 2 seconds faster! Regarding the missed gear theory, these are old manual cars and will always have a delay in shifting. Sometimes there is a slight lag, and sometimes its smooth. In the heat of the moment, we cannot judge too closely, but in the, they wrote that Data analysis proves that Jean didn't miss the gear.

Not being pedantic or critical, just trying to help you fix a little error in case you ever want to repost or release this fantastic movie anywhere else: It’s “fairy tale”, not “fairy tail”. A tale is a story, a tail is (an appendage to) the back of something, like an animal or kite. It’s a small error that’s probably overlooked by most, but when you put so much effort in making such a great movie, then you probably want it to be perfect. Other than that, a great movie, with spectacular images, cinematography, editing, and sound design. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

We must accept they belong to the past. If we really want to see them racing again, better in a good show like a "fake race" rather than a real competiton where pilots push them to the limit until they make a serious shunt.

I'm sorry to read so many comments supporting Alesi. This video tries to make clear that the one to blame is Werner saying that Alesi did not miss a gear. But in my opinion it clearly proves the opposit. Please watch it carefully again. Anyone who knows something about car racing will clearly see that Alesi did miss a gear. He enters the straight in 1st gear and when shifting to 2nd it's very clear that he misses to engage 2nd just for a hundred of second. If you hear the engine and look at the revs gauge it's quite clear. In my opinion it's enough to slow down the car and get hit from behind. I've always admired Alesi for his bravery when competing in F1 but this time I think he's been simply a bad loser. On the other hand I will not defend Werner either because I think it's not gentleman-driving style to race so aggressive and so close given the kind of competition and the value of the cars around. But it's difficult anyway to blame any of the two. In the end they're racing drivers, they have always been and they will be for good.
