Monastic Life in Clonmacnoise

This is a screen capture animation from RealSim's Interactive Discovery Tour of the Lost City of Clonmacnoise, believed by many to be Ireland's 1st City but long since disappeared. This historical environment simulation aims to re-create how it may have looked at the peak of it's power between the 9th and 12th centuries. There are 29 discoverable items in the simulation with short explanatory notes on how people lived at the time (monastic and secular). Clonmacnoise is one of the topics on Junior Certificate History programme
