Josh, I want to preface this by saying your pre-season content is comprehensive and loaded with "good shit" as they say. Next preseason would you be able to be a bit more bullish on players you're moving higher on or fading towards the start of the season. One example of this is the Reaves/Russell scenario. You might have mentioned something but after following most of your mock drafts perhaps it wasn't obvious enough that you'd faded Russell. Also, during the Jalen/Jalen debate I don't think you were clear enough that you thought Jalen Duren wasn't going to be a good option in the 5th round. Or maybe I just missed it. Monk played 38 in an OT game, 33 in regulation. Monk played 24 last game because he had 4 fouls in the first half. He played 16 second half minutes. If he avoids the random foul trouble he likely would have gotten to 30 again. Last night's game wasn't a confirmation that his minutes will yoyo. In fact considering Brown subbed Monk back in with 3 fouls in the 2nd quarter it shows he REALLY wanted to play him big minutes again. Monk just picked up a 4th foul in an 11 second rotation.

Is there an increase in steals around the league? We're only ~7 games in but it seems like there are a lot of players averaging a lot of steals. Even 1.0 SPG is a negative z-score. Previous years that was a positive. If it's real, I wonder if getting steals on defense is being pushed by analytics. Anything to say about it, or is 7 games not worth thinking too much about for now?

I think Josh is underrating Toumani Camara who's currently ranked 57th in 12-Team 9 CAT H2H, with a starting job & 30+ minutes, who's performing better than much higher draft picks; Jabari Smith, Miles Bridges, Onyeka Okongwu, Herbert Jones, etc., and he was basically a free waiver wire pickup.
