Glad I was on green when listening to this tonight, that take on belief systems, or any information within this world having the ability to have different forms (or shapes, speaking metaphorically) whilst looking through the microscope (quite literally) can be seen to behave in the same way as cells is fascinating. Below is a long read, for anyone whose interested on matriarchal/patriarchal thing:) About us always being patriarchal, that is contested and I don't necessarily believe it. These are all theories but many argue we used to be matriarchal before we became patriarchal and who knows what before that? There were matriarchal tribes plus polyandry practices. Can argue the reason there is less of these in comparison to patriarchy and polygyny found right now is because it's muchhhh older in comparison to patriarchy. So patriarchy is much younger thus we see it more than matriarchy as it replaced those systems, or I'd say it was especially brought in by invaders to matriarchal tribes, especially through new religions. Reading on thr origins of Maghreb ritual dance performed by women traditionally reflects matriarchy. Just think on the origin of the term 'mother nature'. Referring to the world as 'she'. There is theories on Patriarchy developing slowly due to women staying in social spaces as couples infants would die before their 2nd birthday so women had to get pregnant again and again to keep the human species going. This meant there was an agreement between men and women for women to stay in social spaces unaware of the impact it would create on future gens. The idea that this created a power imbalance and men slowly become more abusive and entitled over thousands of years. This can be portrayed with the history observed on images of God's and Goddesses and how Goddesses where seen as the bearer of giving life to everything on the Earth which was replaced by Gods and their image and their ability slowly tainted over the past thousands of years, goddesses instead became symbols of temptation and jealousy reflecting sexist ideologies. Dr Lerners theory on the origins of patriarchy, I think starting in Europe 12,000 yrs ago is a good one to start with if anyone's interested!

Quran 17:88, Say, "If mankind and the jinn gathered in order to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like of it, even if they were to each other assistants” Are you telling me Allah is addressing germs and bacteria as...assistants to help us in this challenge? Jinns here are meant to be an intelligent entity capable of complex thought, to even consider this challenge. People need to stop being afraid of the supernatural and just accept it. @@sazimi101 Huh? Islam doesn't teach us about ghosts, lockness, bigfoot. It tells us Jinn and Angels exist. That's the supernatural. Abu Layth said that the interpretation that Jinn could be 'germs' is possible. I'm saying that's completely ridiculous he even entertains it. And science has barely scratched the surface on how the universe even works. Yet here you are 'with all our science we can't even see angels yet!' Allah himself tells us that the believers believe in the unseen world. That would include angels and jinn. That would include Iblis, the jinn devil. Which means science will never ever EVER find them. It's made clear in the Quran they remain unseen. They see us but we never see them.

Are you aware of the diverse interpretations and understandings of what Jinn means are refers to held by scholars during thr Islamic golden age and post-enlightenment? Jinn is some places refers to the general unseen hence the root ج ن ن . I suggest watching mufti's videos on magic, jinn, the queen of Sheba. It goes in to some details on what classical scholars said about magic and thr jinn and our understanding of the jinn. A personal note, Allah sent down thr Quran speaking to Arabs at the time of prophet but it's magnificence is displayed in how we can relate and understand it now with the advancements we have made. Scientifically we have not found evidence of any kind of magic or jinn ghost like creatures in our world. Allah is the lord of science, the universes, multiverses, ect. His word is still relevant today with the right understanding

Indeed, We have made the devils allies to those who do not believe.' If you're telling me that Allah is a LIAR. Telling one group of people 'hey jinn exist, they are intelligent enough to help you with the quran challenge, that Satan SEES YOU, implies vision, and was high among the ranks of the angels, and was told to BOW TO ADAM and will enter HELLFIRE FOR EVER 'bacteria can bow and are punished with hell? lmao' but hey, in the future, if u wanna consider this all to be fairy tale because science can't make you see it, up to you! hah hahaha!' then you need to ask yourself, are you sure you're Muslim at all? Mate, you didn't answer my question about the understanding of classical scholars and their tafsir's of thr Quran. If you were more Informed instead of using English translations of the Quran which are explanations themselves, this would be an interesting conversation. If you are interested, I can email you a translation I did of surah Al-Baqarah from the tafsir of ibn Ashur, a highly regarded maliki scholar from the 21 century that provides an enlightened understanding of the Quran. Ibn Ashur is highly regarded by salifis, and orthodox Muslims as well. Best to you mate. Wa Salaaam
