Actually unbelievably good, it's just a 2.0L 4cyl non-kompressor mated to a 5sp auto and on the highway I get really excellent mileage. Someday I'll have to actually do a proper FC calculation 😄

None whatsoever, in fact imho, this tuten is probably the last of the 'built to last a lifetime' Mercs. Happy to say I've had zero issues with rust, bodywork, interior & exterior degradation, despite the car being 25yrs old already 🙏🏽😊

@@ChrisWeevilGarage cool. somehow people have the impression that W210s are really prone to corrosion - so much so that MB enthusiasts favour the W124 over it because of this opinion that the W210 marked the beginning of where it went downhill for MB (in terms of being over-engineered). many W210s have seemed to stood the test of time despite this unfavourable view hence I was wondering whether there was *real* reason for the dislike (this is somewhat the Singapore pov by the way, where we have a strong following for the W124 and W126 but not the W210 - but I no means represent the entire population of course! 😆)

@@jfysjoel you're welcome! I was told by a reliable source that the Kompressor can give problems after a while, so in terms of longevity, and given the age of the car, the non-Komp was a better bet 😉

Technically correct, during WW2 southern states were being pointing by 🎌bayonet... We northern states are busy been plundered under Siam (before 1948 Thailand) after Japanese Army agree to use southern Siam as launch pad for Malaya Invasion... My grandmother still alive and kept telling stories under Zaman Siam from time to time when I going to visit her... So after Hiroshima & Nagasaki ⚛️💥... The British whisk away Siamese back to current border... Yeah... We (Northern States) have been Siamese *protectorates.
