The rifle arrived today and I dialed in the scope just a couple hours ago kzbin.infoUgkxQt2uORDRfFOVSrO4idv4B90ThT6EOnEL . I haven’t shot with a scope in probably 25 years. The X on the left was my target. (the shot almost in the bullseye on the right X was my father in laws first shot after I made adjustments) The two shots circled are my first 2 shots. Then I brought it down - shot once. Then brought it over to the left. From there zeroed it in to dead center. This all was from 25 yards out. Follow instructions carefully when mounting the scope. So far I'm very happy with the purchase.

I have a problem with this product (keep in mind it's fully cocked) in sometimes it doesn't shoot a bb at all. It's just air. I have to aggressively shake the gun to socket a bb in the correct spot when cocking. I primarily use this toy to scare away squirrels from my bird feeders. But having to shake it usually sends them running. I suppose the same purpose is being accomplished, just 2/5 times I don't get the sweet satisfaction of hitting them or hitting close enough to make em jump. Still an awesome toy. Bought it for my son, but I primarily get the enjoyment out of it.

If somebody can post a fix for this, because I have the same problem about 1/6 of the time (I had hoped this video was actually the fix for this problem, not something as dumb as not reading the instructions for something that is considered to be a gun.) - I would be eternally grateful, I would sing at your wedding! Because I can’t figure it out, my gun is oiled correctly. The barrel is straight and it’s only six or seven months old. I do find if it keeps doing this that if I shake it while I cock it, it almost guarantees to socket a bb..

You gotta make sure the gun is sitting level and at a slight upward angle. If you have it off kilter and/or straight up, a BB won’t fall into battery or 2 BBs will block the way.

the barrel has a trap door that you push in and move up on the left side (I believe its the left side) just pour bbs in the trap door and close it and you're ready.

Hello. I just got my son the Daisy 650 and we notice that about 1/5 times the rifle does not discharge a BB. We are sure to hold the rifle upright when we cock it, but it still does not discharge a BB around 20% of the time. I have an old Daisy BB gun from around 1980 and it does the same thing, but I would expect a newer model to not do this. Thanks in advance for some advice!

I bought a Red Ryder A Christmas Wish for Christmas. After shooting it a while it jammed. You can see the BB in the little slot. The gun cocks and fires but will not expel a BB. As suggested by KZbin videos, I ran a coat hanger down the barrel and tapped it. I also sprayed WD40 down the barrel. Nothing seems to work. How can I get it repaired ? It is a keepsake. I bought it for my adult Son. I don't want a replacement I'd like to have this one repaired. Can you help.??

I painted a very thin white line on the lever, when the line is buried ( ya don’t see it anymore) it’s cocked.

Our 1980's version of the Red Ryder bb gun will shoot but the bb's will not come out when shot. I hold the barrel up when cocking it and it has bb's in it. The older version doesn't do the clicks when cocking it. We have 2 and the newer one is different than the older one. I understand about not cocking it all the way in relation to the newer one. The older one shoots but the bb's won't exit the barrel area.
