Mondeo mk4 1.8tdci Whining Sound

I had similar whining sound in my ford focus -09 1.8tdci. Turns out, it was dual mass flywheel.

Yep, the turbo was leaking exhaust gasses

Did you replace the turbocharger or how did you fox it?

Bearings in the turbo break down and make that noise, I am just changing a turbo on my 1.8tdci for this exact issue
