Lene, Klaus Nomi, Nina Hagen and Kate Bush - the great voices of new wave! We will never again see that many amazing singers exist on the pop scene - and all be at the top of their game - at the same time. Lightning like that can never strike twice.

Yeah, he couldn't even get the title of the song right. Where did the Australians come up with this New York bozo? Unfortunately, the "you pronounce your name weird" stuff could have come from any interviewer - it was just par for the course in 1983.
@richiehoyt84878 ай бұрын
@@jhorton4791 Couldn't have blamed her if she'd given him the Pistols 'Grundy Show' treatment, even though by '83 people would probably have unfairly taken it as an old~hat publicity stunt. Mind you, when Grace Jones gave presenter, Russel Harty, I think it was, a 'barely - a - thing' slap for some similar nonsense a year or two later, it was the talk of the (British) nation.

What a lovable personality ! that's whereI coming from . my lucky numer 's one . these were new ideas for the early 20th century and even still in the 1980 's for a woman's pop song. But she never scared us . she dressed up all the surronding stuff but if you listen the words are fearless . My lucky number's two - might just be the real world and a nod to the mysteries of connubiality , community . We are never safe . either alone or especially blinded by marriage or love . Family however most seee as worth sacricing for . So maybe mother's love is the one love worth aspiring to . i will aspire to both - marriage and family love . She is an American . " This is my Party Dress ! she is fantastic a real artist . his questions show how far from reality the workaday snout is from what is real . Mother left her father and Lovich is Yugoslavian and was much longer . Lene is German . she seems really healthy and well-balanced in person . It takes a strong person to sustain a career in the music industry ! Hats off to this wonderful woman!

I was listening to Lena while he was discussing Dali and I pointed out an article about Lena visiting Dali in Spain. (Dali was his favorite artist - which I didn't know at the time.)
