Glowing Christmas Lights in Soft Pastel - EASY and FUN!

Join me artists in this tutorial as I paint glowing Christmas lights in soft pastel! This tutorail is EASY and FUN, and it would be neat to follow along with family members during the holidays.
The concept for painting the lights is pretty simple, and you don't have to use the same supplies. Just use what you have and follow along.

Amen..! This is no doubt a fun painting to do. I might be mistaken but, didn't you do a watercolor painting one year where you over-lapped the bulbs; where you took a blue bulb and overlap with a yellow one, that showed a green overlap in the middle..? Love this painting. TV-MA section ONLY... RECEPTACLE, is the word you were looking for; top of the bulbs. It's the same in all trades; you have a male end and a female end. One end of something is always going somewhere; applied physics says there must be something to receive it. RECEPTACLE ;) 💜

Thanks friend! And I've done so many paintings it's hard to remember sometimes! I may have done what you shared. ;) And yes, "receptacle". That's it. I am aware of the male and female ends to certain products. I work with my hubby a lot who does lots of construction and repairs. And I like what you said, "one end of something is always going somewhere". I love the laws of physics.
