Hi Claire! I enjoy watching your updates each week. You always seem positive and it helps me to stay positive as well. My biggest struggle is to obsess less about my numbers, and be a bit more confident sounding on my videos. I'm getting better, but have a ways to go. Again, thank you for sharing on these videos! Have a great week!

Open the ‘KZbin Studio’ app on your phone, and I found mine on the main page just a little ways down on the analytics page! Let me know if you can’t find it!

In the "not getting as much done in the time I want to get it done" club 😭 Started this journey at a busy season of life, and sometimes it's frustrating feeling like I need to prioritize that minimum once/week video when the perfectionist in me wants to take a day or two I don't have to learn, do multiple takes, and fine-tune the editting (if I gave in to that, I MIGHT be on video #2 right now.) I've found I'm just having to stay realistic with myself and keep pushing through for the basic goals I've set, which I have been able to stay on track with for about a month now! Always great seeing another video from you, keep on keeping on 👏🙏

I hear you on that! There are so many things to do and to focus on! One thing at a time is the only approach I've found but the most important thing is what you said: keep pushing through. Way to stay on track for a month! Keep going!

"Just remember, once you're over the hill you begin to pick up speed". Charles M. Schulz. Ha, I'm not over the hill, yet. Or am I! Ok, here's a tip I'm going to pass on. Another start up KZbinr says, All your long form videos should be at least 8 minutes long because when you do become monetized KZbin will no place an ad on your video unless it is at 8 minutes long. Leaving the "walk the dog" section was a nice touch. My greatest challenge is continuing to put myself out there. Even as I near 700 subs I have to remind myself, they are people who hit the subscribe button, don't quit. One thing I want to learn is to be a better story teller. Example: They called it The Old Fanning Jones Place. The house was a hundred years old and on 13 acres of overgrown farm land when we moved there. Everybody in Henderson County knew where it was... ...Interstate 25 covers the field where I picked beans when I was eleven years old and no one remembers the Old Fanning Jones place, these days. Most of us are gone now. ---- True story but, it hasn't been written, yet.

Hey, Cleire Miller, you just got another 7:31 minutes of watch time. Actually, a little more because I had to go back and check my sound when you had a conversation with your sister about the dog walk.

This is great advice! Storytelling is a great thing to work on! You can do it! I have dreams of writing a book or two in the future! I'd love to hear that story, I think its amazing how thing change overtime but you should never forget what was there first.

I am a little further than you with my channel, but I think my struggles are similar regarding video creation. For me, focusing on my attempts to hook my audience in the first 30 seconds. I know if I can do that well, the chances increase they will watch the video longer.

It’s such a vital element of the video! Next week, the video I’m releasing will have 15 hooks in the description! I’d love to know what you think!

Morning… just an fyi I attended someone’s zoom meeting this weekend that mentioned not to use shorts and long form on same channel. Just a mention❤ blessings to you on your growth

This is a big topic! I really think it depends on your content and goals. The reason I post shorts and longform to the same channel is because all my videos are trying to reach the same audience. however, there are definitely scenarios where I would encourage people to have two separate channels. It’s worth experimenting though! Which direction do you think you’ll go? 😊

@@Contentclaire_ity that makes sense. I brine you will do well :) with my business channel (focuses on holistic digestion for women) I am going to post long form and then I’m going to make a separate faceless shorts just for inspiring tips on my same niche.

My biggest struggle at the moment is focus. Right now I am consuming more than I am creating. I am watching all these videos and reading the books on how to grow on KZbin yet I am not doing the single most important thing...making videos 😂 You mentioned a 30 day shorts challenge and I am in the middle of one now so at least I have those releasing daily, except the two days I missed. Do you find that your background in video production causes challenges because you learned more about making films and movies and not this type of video? Just curious. Have a great week.
@Contentclaire_ity

This might be one of the biggest hurdles…I’m actually creating a course to help overcome this called ‘Consumer to Creator’ so the way you phrased this really hits home! How’s the shorts challenge going?! I do find my background a hindrance sometimes. I always take a few moments to clean up my background but even today I struggled to find a background for a little longer than I wish I had. What do you struggle with with backgrounds?
@MindofSmoothie
@MindofSmoothie 4 ай бұрын
@@Contentclaire_ity The challenge is going okay, not sure how much growth has come from it, mainly just keeping me consistent. And when I was talking about your background, I meant your background/ degree in film. Like was your course of learning focused on the beginning to end in like movie filming workflow? So are your more instructional videos handled differently as opposed to making a movie? I hope that makes sense 😂

@MindoSmoothie thought I'd chime in here. I'm a Certified Professional Photographer by the Professional Photographers of America. That said, being educated (it took 8 years) in something is just a beginning. Putting it into action is a totally new game. While I can make great photographs, it's hard to put those skills into video. Being the "film star, script writer, video photographer and more", is quite a challenge in itself. Then you have to put YOURSELF out there. Whoa!

I struggle with seeing the vid views taper off after 3 days. I would think that if a vid brought some value this time, in theory it should continiue to give valur to others past 3 days? need to overcome this headspace because it's quite demotivating.
@Contentclaire_ity
@Contentclaire_ity 4 ай бұрын
That's so understandable and I agree. That can be quite demotivating, there's a fine balance of watching analytics closely. You've got this though! And the views will keep coming as more of your content is out there 💕

KZbin is testing your video for the first few days to find an audience. If it hasn't found an audience they stop promoting it. That said, it doesn't mean it couldn't find an audience in the future as your videos become more popular. You are building for the future!

Your content is impressive! Yet, it might lack optimization, hindering its reach and engagement. This could explain lower metrics like subscribers, views, likes, watch time, and comments. I've analyzed your channel and identified areas for enhancement. If interested, I'd gladly share the report for further discussion. Let's collaborate to elevate your content's impact
