Hi guys, thanks for the video series, really enjoying it. In this video, you mentioned that AdSense will compete with other Ad Networks and only fulfil ads over a certain value. Does that mean the other Ad Networks are populating the ad space for values under $1.00? If so, should I be getting paid for those ads and how? Thanks!

Thanks for your informative video. I have direct sponsor ads on my DFP, and I allow the Adsense to fill the impression gaps. For example 50% of impressions of a particular ad unit is from direct sponsor, and the rest is filled by Adsense. In this case, I don't have to enter the codes from Adsense, since it's automatically filled. How do I know I'm being paid for the filler ads? I don't seem to see income from DFP in my Adsense account, except the income from the ad units created on Adsense. Does my question make sense?

You should be able to tell by running a DFP report and viewing the AdSense revenue. If that doesn't match the revenue on your actual AdSense account, you might have a different AdSense account associated with your DFP. We would recommend running AdX on dynamic allocation instead. This is more reliable and would earn you site higher ad revenues. You can check out more info here: www.monetizemore.com/solutions/ad-exchange/?

Great video! But what is the advantage/benefit of setting up Adsense in DFP instead of just using the Adsense code available in your Adsense account? I don't understand why you wouldn't just use the Adsense code directly on site?

You can do that. The advantage of using DFP ad units is so that you can easily introduce competition for Adsense. Let's say you signed a deal with Ad Network A and Ad Network B. When a user visits a page, DFP holds an auction in real time and decides which ad network, or Adsense, can pay the highest amount for that particular impression, thus maximising your revenue. DFP also allows you to configure the ads, block certain ad types, target certain groups of users without placing enormous amounts of code on your webpages.

Is it possible to add Google Ad manager (DFP) code to website through Google Tag Manager? How?
@MonetizeMorePosts2 жыл бұрын
Google Publisher Tag (GPT) is a snippet of code you add to your webpage to request an ad from Ad Manager. GPT sends browser, location, and other anonymous information about the user as well as targeting you define such as ad units or key-values.
