It’s very true!!! Having physical money that you can actually see and feel, makes a huge difference. Not only does it hurt more to give it away, but when u see your cash stacking, you feel richer.

I agree but I've grown up with my dad teaching me that money sitting is money wasted. Almost every penny of mine is invested in things like stocks and ways to make it grow. so far, it has been an insane turnout over the years. You let it sit and forget about it and the growth can be crazy if you invest in the right things, which really isn't hard to do. I do agree though, seeing a nice stack of cash is a great feeling

What I do, is since that all my bills come directly out of my account I calculate all of my monthly bills, add them all up and I normally add an additional $20 to the total just in case something is a tad more, and then I leave that in my bank account. I withdraw my savings, spendings, gas and food money or anything I pay with cash, and add that up. Then I disperse it between my envelopes.

Thank you so much for this video. I am very new to the cash envelop system and I’m also looking to get a tight hold of my finances by starting from humble beginnings. Your video was very informative and your logistical breakdown of how you actually go about using this system was super insightful for me (especially the part where you explain you physically deposit the money into the atm/bank to pay a specific bill). I am going to first start with the approach of using envelopes for my variable expenses and leave my fixed expenses on my account.

I feel more people, no matter what age you are, need to see this video. 🧐And honestly… when you do have the physical money on hand, it makes a big difference in your spending habits. 🙂If the rest of those persons using just a credit (or even a debit) card, were able do this, then so many would not have so many problems trying to pay back those credit card loans (because this is what they are…) 😳with interest! Plus having a physical budget you are able to work with and see on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, really does help everyone in the long run.😇Thank you for posting; I look forward to seeing many of your future videos.🥰

Hi Monet! Great video and you are so wise. I am so grateful for you sharing that there is an emotional feeling of attachment and harder to physically “hand over” cash than it is to just swipe my debit or credit cards. I knew that I needed to cash budget since my 30’s, but I just never knew how to. I literally watched about 3-4 cash stuffing videos and was so confused on what “sinking funds” are and you just broke it all down for me. You also are the first one I’ve seen to do a video without long acrylic nails and just went natural. Love it, I feel you are super relatable to me. Liked and subscribed, thanks again!

I'm doing this this year. This is the method that worked for me when I was in college but my husband prefer using a credit card because of the rewards. The problem is it's easy to swipe and difficult to keep on checking every time we purchase something to track where money went. Paying in cash is a good discipline. It's easy to control the spending when you see the money is getting lesser or gone. Thank you for sharing your experience in budgeting! ❤️🙏

This video… I have a few things to say *clears throat* 1. The editing… you did great! It could have just been your hands. But you did acting, writing, text, and examples with cash and without. Amazing! 2. This is so simple and I feel 100% prepared to start this journey, I really do appreciate this video. I get paid daily but I’ve still found a way to implement this system. My budget is going to be changing a lot within the next few months.. I have to catch up and I want to go from paying insurance monthly to the year. Then things will be a little more chill. The blooper at the end is hilarious and your mom is awesome!!! I love this video so very much. It made me laugh and it taught me. ONE THING I maybe would have talked about or mentioned is an emergency fund. But that’s me being nit picky so don’t feel bad at all because this video was a 5/5 and I will be recommending this video to anyone who asks me questions. Thank you again!

This is literally what I need, saved it to my private playlist for the future. Thank you so much for uploading this, your really an angel. I'm currently studying for a two year course compulsory for becoming a high school teacher. My mama is a single mother, so we have first hand experienced struggling with money like many others for having one paycheck and five growing bellies to fill. She is still very worried about my decision because it wouldn't pay well as compared to other company jobs and is still trying to make me keep my options open. I understand her. Point of view, as she wants the best for me. But teaching is the only thing I would truly enjoy maybe I will have my moments of sadness with not having everything like my siblings pursuing company jobs but on the long run this will make me happier. I was so worried about how to manage the cash, especially in times like these. Medical expenses are so costly that since I will be staying with my mama till I get married, I'll save my whole paychecks for the future from now only instead of spending it on things that won't last. So glad to discover this method, hopefully it will be enough for my future family in the long run. God bless you❤️

Thank you so much for sharing your story and just by reading it seems like your are passionate about teaching. If that makes you happy I think you should pursue it and the first step about money management is being mindful of your money and you have proven that you care about your finances so I am sure you will make the right decisions. Good luck on your journey and wishing you all the best. Thank you ❤️
