Italians and Sicilians eat lots of meat and animal products. Raw meat, seafood, butter, saturated fats, eggs and such. Their cholesterol is high compared to what other Europeans have but cholesterol is essential to the body and keeps the skin and heart good. No wonder they all look so good so old, look these things up the because all this vegan vegetarian nonsense with inflammatory plant and seed oil madness is very bad your health.

I think the reason Chazz and his podcast are so special because he reflects the Italian American culture that has been lost over the years. The way we talk to each other, the food we eat, how we love our family and friends, and even most still going to church for holidays. Because Italian Americans didn’t pass down the language, it is less pronounced, but I still identify more with those values than I do with being an American or white.

I have seen so many mob, gangster, mafia type movies as I love the action, but I want to tell you Mr. Palminteri, YOU have been my most favorite mob actor EVER! Ever since 'A Bronx Tale' I have yet to see one better than you in charactor. I even had tears when the dude stepped behind you and shot you in the movie. I was really drawn to the part you played. Thank you for being such a super guy who enjoys his fans.

We have this false notion that our favorite actors ie. James Gandolfini, Tony Sirico etc. are indestructible and are 37 years old forever . Seeing Tony Sirico age the way he did broke my heart , because believe you me he was a piece of steel! A Man’s Man . But we have our time when the clock ticks out …. Vinny looks great God bless him . Tony James , Ray Liotta ,Frank Vincent are sorely missed ! May they all rest in the sweetest peace . They live forever in our hearts ! Buon Anima 💪💪🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🙏🏼🙏🏼😔😔😔😔

Great show...I just subscribed. I loved Bronx Tale, it reminded me of my neighborhood growing up in Astoria Queens. I lived a 6 unit apartment house at 2338 Broadway that was the exact one as Deniro lived in, in the movie. Met Chaz briefly in Harrahs, A.C. as he came out of the showroom at the completion of his Bronx Tale play. He was very exhausted from the arduous performance but said hello to us in the lounge. A true gentleman , great actor, and proud Italian. Bravo Chaz.

This is a master class in interviewing, better than Howard Stern. Chazz understands that the show is for the audience and asks the questions that the audience would ask..and gets the answers. Pastore really opens up on this one, laying himself out for better or worse and does so in a relaxed matter of fact manner. I felt like I was in the room. Great job Chazz.

My mothers father was born and raised til 8 years old in Italy, from Calabria….I wish there was a way to post a photo on here of him because he looks like he would be Vincent Pastore’s brother. They look almost identical it’s uncanny. The only difference is he had jet black hair and never greyed other than his gray sideburns until he died at 87 years old. I wish my grandfather would have lived to see the Sopranos, he would’ve loved it.
