Mangog has fought thor 12 times and he has only ever lost once in the 90s which is considered weaker than his classic version.which was via internal anti force blast anyways He also has oneshotted a being who beat thor,beaten loki,ulik and knocked out classic Odin. He is the greatest monster in comics. His speed is also immense according to marvel monsters #1 ,mangog can run at light speed.

NOw I think Darkseid would beat Mongul, but I don't ever recall them fighting because while Physically Mongul and Darkseid are probably even, Darkseid's Omega Beam I feel gives him the edge, I mean how would Mongul counter that?? Thanos also has versatility similar to Darkseid so if Thanos and Mongul fight how would Mongul counter Thanos nonphysical abilities also. Mongul may be physically stronger than both Thanos and Darkseid but if he is it isn't by a large margin. So I agree with your assessment that Darkseid > Thanos > Mongul, as I dont know or see a way for Mongul to counter either Darksied's Omega beam or Thanos other non physical powers.

Mangog beat Odin several times including classic Odin,has only lost to Thor twice (once was RKT and the other time was with the Odin-Force).Mongul is no pushover and has beaten Superman and most of the Justice League.But Mangog trumps Mongul on the strength, durability,powers (cosmic and magic) he also has adaption (similar to Doomsday's), resurrection and can draw strength from hate,rage,anger etc.Mangog is a skyfather character and will stomp Mongul 10 out of 10 fights.Also some of those scans of Mongul are Pre-Crisis version not the Post-Crisis (which this fight is based on).

For one Mangog is a skyfather level character with cosmic and magic powers,has unlimited strength,stamina and durability,is immortal,has resurrection and adaptation abilities and can draw power from hate,rage,anger etc from almost anywhere in the universe.

Mangogs strength is limitless like Hulk people love to brag about how Mongul was as strong if not stronger than Superman in the Silver Age and thats 100% TRUE HE WAS!! but Mangog absolutely outclassed Thor in stregnth and power in his Classic/Silver Age form and thats a big deal!!! Classic Thor in the silver age has raw strength feats on par with Silver Age Superman like destroying planets in a simple arm wrestle and resisting the weight of 20 planet but in terms of power Thor was waay more powerful than Superman in the Silver Age he was continuously matching skyfathers like zeus and sutur and casually fighting against beings like silver surfer and physically as strong if not stronger than Hulk in some cases. All of that yet Classic Thor was no match for Mangog. Mangog is rather a skyfather threat and a certified threat to all the nine realms and even odin aknowledges how dangerous he is and is full of fear whenever Mangog is present.
