Hi Cruiseman, Since you have reviewed both the Invoxia and the Monimoto 7 GPS trackers, I would like to know which one you think is the better unit. I have been looking at the Invoxia for cost and features and since it is less for the annual service. A head to head comparison and your thoughts would be appreciated. Like the channel, keep it up.

11:38 Actually, it took 15:02seconds to take your bike out of your garage... So, I guess it takes less than 50sec. MoniMotor to respond.
@Jarvisbiker3 жыл бұрын
Its probably a good thing that it takes 50 seconds to notify your phone. Likely best to call authorities to intercept for you. Yearly rate is reasonable and I wonder if Insurance would give rebate for having this feature? Great video Cruiseman ....................JB..

So are all these GPS trackers going to continuously call you if you are just in your home or walk around the corner (I live in an upstairs apartment)

Looks similar to the Invoxia system. I think that I gave less than what the Monimoto 7 is with 2 yrs of 4G service for that one. Nice video as always.

Calling it an "Anti Theft GPS Tracker" is a stretch. Should be a " Stolen Vehicle Tracker." And even that assumes the thieves don't find the device and toss it away.
@cruisemansgarage3 жыл бұрын
That would be hard to do if it is mounted under the seat, or even in a saddlebag.

Watch MCRider review Chris. Kevin gave it a negative review due to his location not having cell service which could be problematic when touring. Otherwise I’ll wait for other product reviews. Wondering if the Apple tracking devices might be worth a review.
@cruisemansgarage3 жыл бұрын
Cell service can be an issue with these types of trackers. The concern with Apple trackers is they too rely on cell service and the proximity of other Apple iPhones to track.

Bulky design and not a lot of palce to hide it really. Can be detected easily, also the live tracking isnt real time. You can as well keep an old android phone and it would do better. Airtags seems a much better option, given you can hide it in so many places. Problem with these devices are that its difficult to find un-baised reviews as they would push free products to channels.
@JohnMiller22 жыл бұрын
Theives are not dumb, they will just download the app that checks for hidden Airtags. Also for an Airtag to track it would require that the theives use an iPhone since the tag itself dosen't have GPS or cellconnection, it's just bluetooth. I heard somewhere that Airtags make a noise aswell but i'm not sure about that. As for the Android phone idea, i think the tracking capability is good but not the alarming functions or geofencing. A phone is about as large as this tracker also so what's the point there. This guy clearly stated that he didn't not receive the device from the company and isn't sponsored so unless he would like to risk huge fines from the FCC i believe that this is as unbiased as you could get.

Where do you pay that subscription of 49 dollars a year
@-Quisp-2 жыл бұрын
They give you an initial period free. But then it expires and you just have to pay it through their app that tracks the device

Put your finger through the hole and push it out next time, Genius! Just kidding. Everyone destroys that beautiful box. That being said, I thought that since it follows satellite signals, it doesn't really need cell service. When I'm in my rig in central Nevada and my service goes out, the Google maps/navigator still works.

You need a data plan for your phone, this tracker has data so it too requires a dataplan.
@Sharpey76.2 жыл бұрын
why so its using mobile data so its going to need a plan its not like its a massive amount of money
@JohnMiller22 жыл бұрын
@@Sharpey76. It needs it for connectivity with your device, to send it's tracking data, settings, battery life and so on. They also have to use 4G LTE because EDGE and 3G is being phased out the coming years. So they have to buy space with operators across the whole world and also pay for servers to keep the platform going. All that costs alot more money than one would think.

Get an apple air tag. You get the entire apple network of phones tracking your bike. Hide it somewhere in the bike and you are all set. $25 bucks.
@beastly_gaming32002 жыл бұрын
if someone else has an air tag (like a thief) it will alert them that there is another air tag in the area. that said, that would mean that the thief would have to have one on them too.

1:51 This is a childish take on your compensation. You received a free product and you make revenue from the review of said free product. Is the fact that "no money changed hands" the same as not receiving compensation from the advertiser? Better to not mention anything on the topic and just let the audience decide on their own if you are a shill or not.

I got several complaints About your “review”. Hide the device deep inside the motorcycle like most people will do, ánd not in plain site of 20 sattelites on top of everything high up on the motorcycle. Second: you getting a $200 device for free (and you can sell it to anyone as New) but telling you are not payed, is rather dumb. Of the item has no worth at all, because it is Made unusable by the manufacturer, then and only then it is An unpayed review. Fact that you americans can recieve couple of millions worth of gifts before you are getting taxed is not everywhere in the world. In the rest of the world it is called: payed in goods. (Doing the service of “review”. En recieve the item as payment. Therefore you got payed.
@cruisemansgarage2 жыл бұрын
You have an interesting way of looking at getting "paid". I have 4 GPS devices in my garage that I have reviewed in the past. I have not sold any of them and the last time I checked, my grocery store will not accept a GPS device as payment for food. The last thing I need is another piece of tech sitting on the shelf. I have reviewed some products where the company pays for a review, which I always disclose (e.g. Pathfinder products, Remus exhaust, etc.). If you think I can make a living by doing reviews of free products, I would like to see you try it.
@harmzegt80662 жыл бұрын
@@cruisemansgarage you can, easaly. Some “reviewers” get 60 to 100 items a month send to them to review. If you only sell half of them at half price you can order a Ferrari before the year is over.
